Comment:

Literally one of the most annoying Professors ever. Not only does he yell at you because he cant hear ANYONE speak, he also gives you a shower with his spit. Asking questions is like asking yourself "Do I wanna get screamed at in front of everyone for no reason or nah?" It is a struggle to just show up to his class. + Million of quizzes. Have fun!

He is a tough grader that does not leave much feedback or explanation. I've gotten quizzes back where every question has a check mark yet I still only got a B+. Be prepared to read!! If you skip a class he will give you a hard time. Have not seen him give out many As. He ruined my straight As!! I do not recommend taking him

He is a tough strict grader. If you don't have thick skin dont take his class. He is very blunt and comes off rude. He is very knowledgeable so if you take his class know ur stuff. Better enjoy reading it's half the class. Quizzes are all essay format tests r too. Very hard class. He will bug if u leave the room or r late. Wouldnt take class by him

Worst teacher I've ever had.No writing assignments.Grades are entirely based on quizzes that are impossible to study for:4 random questions from reading including random quote. If you ask for help he will talk down to you. He yells at students. I did not grow as a reader, writer, or analyzer-Regardless of inconvenience I will never take him again.

Rude, had to go home due to a family member being in the hospital and he got angry with me because i had to miss one class. told me he didn't think it was necessary to miss his class and then wouldn't give me full credit for the quiz i missed. extremely disrespectful. very particular and temperamental

Dr. Cotter is not here to baby you. You need to do the work and do it well. You need to pay attention in his class or you will end up embarrassing yourself, because he'll scold you and speak his mind. DON'T DON'T DON'T use your cell phone in class. He will walk over and take it from you. This man is brilliant though.
