Dr. Holm is one of the best professors I have ever had. He expects his students to do the work, but he has such a laid back style that he makes the work interesting and fun. He makes his students want to work even harder.

Dr. Holm classes challenges students to think for results. We had a group assignment to attend a speaking event for a high profile labor speaker who recently visited Houston and individual assignments that exposed each student to a culture other than their own. Dr. Holm wants each student to leave his class a better student than when they came.

There is not enough character allotment to describe the generosity, understanding, compassionate, knowledgeable, and wittiness that is Dr. Holm. I take a class from his every semester even when I didn't have to because even when you are uninterested, he makes the material presentable for you to enjoy. He INSPIRES YOU!

Excellent teacher. The course was easy and he explained it well. I would definitly recommend this professor but I think he has got a promotion and will no longer be teaching the lower level COM classes. :(
