johnston is GREAT! i love his class. at first i struggled, but after i went to his office to get help, i make a's on every test. there are quizzes every friday, and it helps you prepare for the exam coming up. if you study, it's easy! my favorite professor by far this semester!

Awesome professor. If he was ever having a bad day personally I never knew about it; he's always energetic and entertaining. Teaches complex topics with clarity and in a way to help them stick in your memory. He's also SUPER knowledgeable and has fun stories about working in hospitals.

He is really animated and his lectures are easy to listen to and learn from! Didn't really need the book since tests are from lecture! Challenging test but not terrible if you study they are easy enough and he is always around to answer questions and help you study! Great professor, I am so taking another of his classes!

I definitely agree with another person, if you are attractive, he'll be mroe helpful! Yes, he is very smart, but a complete jerk otherwise. I will NEVER recommend him to anyone!!!!

Joshston grades very harshly. However, he is very energetic. Tries to teach and test too many materials in one day. He is very selective when helping students, he helps those mostly who he likes. Get the book, b/c without it you'll be lost. And go to the lab everyday, b/c that's the only way you'll pass. This class is awful. Learned very little.

Dr. Johnston is a great guy, and will go to any length to help you. If you take advantage of out of class help you will do fine. He is a little unclear sometimes, and his tests are pretty hard. Study on a regular basis and you'll ace the class.

So funny! Very laid back in class but watch out for his tests (they're much harder than his lectures lead you to think) He's almost always in his office to answer any and all of your questions. By far my favorite professor at WU!

He is a good professor, but kinda hard. He has really bad mood swings. One minute he is the most helpful, understanding person and the next he acts like you are the stupidest person and almost pushes you out of his office! You will learn a lot in his class, definitely helpful for Med. School.

Seems to favor the attractive students, but an excellent teacher. Explains things VERY clearly. No book needed, 100% of exams from lecture. Mostly mult choice, and easy if you take good notes and study them. If your cell phone rings he will explode at you & locks the door so dont be a minute late

Dr. Johnston is a great professor! He's challenging, but you learn a lot, especially in his anatomy & physiology classes. They are a great prep. for med. school!!!
