Comment:

Dr. Rhoads is awesome. Really laid back kind of guy. This class there was no textbook and we watched documentaries the entire class. Like that was the whole class. Highly recommend. I actually learned something without the pressure of major assignments. Just 3 written exams. Never took attendance but I never missed a class because it was so fun.

Comment:

I loved Dr. Rhoads lectures. It wasnt hard to understand and thats because of him explaining everything really well. The tests arent too bad as long as you study according to the study guides that he provides, which are extremely useful and easy to follow. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Rhoads to anyone

Set yourself up by paying attention and studying for Quiz 1 and Exam 1. This will help you see what his tests are like and if you need to study more/less for the others. No homework whatsoever, so it is important to do well on the 3-4 exams. The "pop" quizzes are specific. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK. Everything needed is in lectures, pay attention.

Fantastic professor. Best class I've taken. Makes even the most boring or difficult material interesting. One of the best professors to walk the campus of Westminster College. He's down to earth and cares about his students. His tests seem really easy but that's because of his teaching style. As long as you don't sleep, you'll do very well.

The best professor at WC hands down. Take his classes, they are easy and fun. Also Mock Convention with him is a blast. He was definatly at Woodstock

Dr. Rhoads is a great prof. I've taken MANY classes with him and I find him to be interesting with a great sense of humor. He's also very helpful and fair. Take a class with him, if you can. Oh, and ask him about Nancy Reagan and her jelly beans!

Comment:

Rhoads is a great prof. He has a sense of humor about things which makes class that much better. All I can say is he let us watch the Chicago '68 riots when i bugged him to. You don't get much better than profs that let you watch stuff with Abbie Hoffman.

Comment:

Very simple and straightforward. Tends to draw Nixon and/or Watergate somehow into every topic covered, but otherwise sticks to only the basics and no BS. All 3 PS profs take turns teaching PS 101. Wait for Rhoads to teach it...he is hands-down the best!
