JBT (what he calls himself) is an amazing professor. I came into this class not knowing a thing about the cosmos or physics, but he is more than patient and excited to help students learn. He makes complex material understandable, and even enjoyable. He's probably the smartest guy I've ever met, but also humble. He's quite hilarious too! Top prof.

This course was fantastic! The professor was always very understanding, but he also made his expectations for the students very clear. Show up to class, participate, read the textbooks ahead of time, and work hard, and you'll do perfectly fine.

This class was amazing. His lectures weren't always the easiest thing to follow, but if you read the chapters in advance and went through the lecture powerpoints in advance, then you'd be ready to take additional notes during lectures (and not be frantically copying everything) and to discuss the readings. Great! Fantastic!

I did a honors class with Prof. Togeas and another professor. Prof. Togeas is the definition of intellectual bad-ass. He is very knowledgeable in many areas and readily shares information that you need to succeed. If you're planing to take a honors class with him (I believe honors are the only classes he does), DO NOT HESITATE.

Such a nice guy, great professor, very helpful. Keeps candy in his office to get you to visit! His tests are hard and I wish he would use power point for some color and contrast during lecture. He knows his stuff but if you struggle with chem plan on doing tutoring! He is really great anyway!

A sweetheart of a professor who has been adequately dubbed, "The Chemistry Ninja" by past classes. Teaches VERY fast and is hard to keep up with. Old school teaching style (overhead projector and chalkboard).

Super smart prof who I felt focused on the math behind the chemistry. His tests are VERY HARD--just a bunch of problems you have to work through. However, he is super helpful if you stop by his office. Uses an overhead projector and the chalk boards = old school.

Togeas's History of Chemistry class is seriously amazing. He's an actual, bona fide genius and his teaching is amazing. Never pretentious, always helpful, the real mark of a smart professor is one who acts naturally and doesn't flaunt it. He's a credit to this university.

Togeas is great for labs and is great about answering questions. I always felt he was happy to provide extra help when I was confused. I found his lectures really dry though. It was often difficult to pay attention.

Very smart guy, classic idea of a "professor". However, I felt that the lectures did not really help me prepare for the exams, or what type of material he was looking for. An excellent professor if you want to really learn Chem, not so great if you just want to fill a pre-req.

Togeas is awesome! He'll always be up for answering questions, even if you don't have his class. He loves teaching and it shows. His tests can be hard though-multiple choice worth 8 points are not cool.
