Wants you to do good, use his office hours. At the end lets your revise all papers for a better grade, went from a 4 hr research paper with a 1.7 to a 3.7.

I took this class hoping to learn to be a better writer and essayist. Instead, I learned how to sit through a 1.25+ hour train-wreck of a class, pretend I was listening to some mindless nonsense punctuated by pedantic lectures on trivial subjects and reminders of how great the professor was, and try to act like I didn't want to up and leave.

He is a very kind teacher. The assignments weren't always straight forward, but if you completed what was expected, your grade showed it. The class did not help with my major, but I am glad I was in this class

Is this your only class of the semester? It better be because Dr. Kuhar seems to think so the way he assigns work and material to the class. His expectations are nearly impossible to meet and the lectures are all over the place. On top of that, he is unfair the way he singles out some students and praises others, clear favoritism and unprofessional

Kuhar is an interesting fellow. He really encourages critical thinking, and he values the opinions of others. His goal is to make everyone a better writer, and he sure is dedicated to doing so!Take advantage of his office hours. The man works wonders!

I took his new digital humanities course and he was really difficult to understand. He expected A LOT from his students and it wasn't always reasonable. You really need to enjoy English and writing before you should even consider taking Dr. Kuhar.

Dr. Kuhar is so intelligent, sometimes to the point that his ideas go over students' heads, but he is also extremely helpful and always open to meeting outside of class. I found this class interesting and relatively easy, and you definitely need the book!

Doctor Kuhar requires beyond do able work for this class. I did all the readings, participated in discussions, and had all my assignments in on time. I basically let my other grades suffer bc he requires so much time for his class as if he expects it is ur only class. After having a conflicting viewpoint to his, he took a major dislike to me.

This guy is annoying and awful, not to mention completely disorganized. Doesn't really help when he can only see things his way. Really opinionated guy, listen to his opinions and keep yours to yourself if you want to pass. Constantly keeps class late, I wouldn't recommend this arrogant teacher.

Dr. Kuhar is one of the most dedicated, passionate professors I worked with at Wilkes. He went above and beyond to explain difficult concepts, historical context, and interdisciplinary relevance. Expect to work, but expect to learn a great deal.

Everyone knows that Dr.Kuhar's crazy, so if you're going to have a problem with that I definitely suggest avoiding his classes. For those who don't mind a little crazy in their morning cereal, few teachers are going to develop your writing as thoroughly as he will or take as much time working with individual students outside of class, so go for it.

He is a nice guy, but that means nothing when it comes to his teaching style. Every single person left his class confused. Needs to slow down and stay on task. He was always running out of time and keeping class late; very disorganized. I know several people who are no longer english majors because of him and his teaching style.

He does not know how to teach an online coarse. Instead of having some equivalent lecture presentation online, it was just hand in assignments. Sometimes his email would bounce back my emailled assignments. When this happened, he told me I would get a zero. I managed to pull a 3.5, but after I complained to several people. Take reg classes!

I had Kuhar twice and while he's confusing and definitely gets off the topic, he's a good guy. He seems to explain things in big words, which he could work on. He's always jolly when I see him.
