If you want to learn the material, I advise do not take this professor. He gives a lot of work but does not really teach the material. You must follow his examples to the letter or he will take off points for individual thinking of how you grasp the material.You are basically teaching yourself.

Had James for grad class and undergrad. James is absolutely hysterical! If you want a good laugh take the class. He is a clown and a comedian. A great person to watch perform. Work is a ton, but it is easy work. An atypical teacher. If you are looking for someone organized, professional and clear-Move On! He is a smart guy underneath the hysterics
