Comment:

She opened the modules two weeks in advance and I had to drop out before the semester even started. Her assignments were too difficult to understand, you basically have to teach yourself everything because there were no clear instructions, esp. for students who don't understand politics.

I took this class for credit and to learn more about government, but instead it was very fast pace and difficult. Do not take this class online. Very difficult and hard to stay caught up because it was only a month long.

I took her late start class and asked for help before the class officially started, teacher said she could not help since she was not getting paid. The 2nd post she told me I had great detail but she would be taking points off since they were too long of paragraphs and because I used 2 posts to write my answer since I forgot my opinion portion.

Honestly, such an excellent professor. She gives great feedback and if you try, you will learn a lot and do well. However, don't slack off! This class is an easy A as long as you stay up on your work and try to synthesize and apply the information. Weekly quizzes are easy A's if you do the reading.

Easy A. Just did the work and she was an easy grader. It was online and she wasn't that involved she just said a couple sentences back and gave us a grade. Easy online class. No problems but also not an amazing class. Super average

Ms. Ukudeeva focuses a lot on quizzes to determine understanding of the concepts. That's fine, but I'm not concerned about obscure facts. I'd like my understanding to be assessed through comprehension of broad themes and important concepts. I didn't care for the class because of this. Focus on discussions and quizzes.

It is essential to go to all her lectures and that you make sure you answer all her assignment questions to pass her class with a good grade. It is also a great idea if you spend some time going over and practicing her practice midtermfinal questions if you want to pass her midtermfinal. She is very helpful, and will always answer your questions.

I dont think I've ever learned so much from one class.She is concise and knows how to effectively build an understandable lecture from a subject most* Americans hate. (And explains why that is too)She grades generously, and if you are not a total noob and study for the test you will receive a high grade. You are in college after all.

At first she'd grade fairly easy, towards the end she began getting more picky about what we wrote on the discussions threads. I began getting 80-100% at first, then towards the end 50-75% and I would put just as much effort. This was an easy class but her grading makes it impossible for an A,

This class was very easy and straightforward and I learned a lot. The class was two exams and three small papers and attendance is not mandatory. Ukadeeva has a very unique background which makes her an interesting political teacher, plus she's adorable.

Comment:

Ukadeeva is a professor that enjoys the classes she teaches. She's accommodating and willing to help, almost to a fault. Unfortunately in both classes I took with her she had trouble maintaining authority. Books are 'required' but I found for PS-3 it wasn't necessary to get an A. Would recommend her for any political science class!

Jamilya is a great teacher! Very clear about how our government works. She keeps my attention for the entire class and provides plenty of real-life examples to keep the information up to date. Also, makes funny jokes on occasion. Make sure to do the homework and study since there are only 2 homework assignments and a couple tests.

UKUDEEVA IS A VERY GREAT INSTRUCTOR. JUST DO THE WORK, AND BE INVOLVED IN THE CLASS, YOU'LL DEFINITELY PASS WITH A GOOD GRADE. SHE CARES A LOT ABOUT DOING HER JOB WITH EXCELLENCE. BEFORE I TOOK HER I GOT AN F FROM ANOTHER INSTRUCTOR AND GOT A B+ FROM HER. IF I CAN PASS HER, ANYONE CAN! A REAL COLLEGE CLASS THANK YOU UKUDEEVA!

She was a very nice teacher, but the class was down-right boring! The assignments are super easy and she makes the study guides match the exams almost exactly. The textbook is basically only used for reference, the slides provide most of the information.

Straightforward class. Gives you all the information in her powerpoints. There is very little homework, and I never had to touch the main textbook. But, the class was incredibly boring. She doesn't teach with the zest I have come to expect from Cabrillo professors. But its a hard to do bad in the class. It is what it is.

You don't even need the book. I rented it maybe 3 times during the semester only for the first three days of class. She literally gives you everything you need for her exams twice!! She's very intelligent and knows her subject very well.... i mean she has her PhD
