Comment:

Easiest class ever if you can withstand the level of crazy the teacher brings. Do not buy the textbook for intro to music. The teacher was annoying to the point I'd sign in and leave class. Lots of extra credit opportunities though. She gives out 1000 point a semester and offers over 200 extra credit.

Definitely, an easy A if you buy her Course packet for $10. Don't even bother buying the textbook! Weird teacher but tries to liven class up with interesting music and multiple jokes every class. Don't take this class if you actually. want to learn something.

This course has lots of extra credit and exams. She makes you go to at least two concerts and write a report on them. Her lectures are boring and sometimes she doesn't finish the lecture but tests you on it. If she offers a course packet buy it and don't buy the book.

As someone who likes an engaging class, Dr. Haworth teaches the material very well. She is very helpful and is not a particularly picky grader. Just put in some effort and youll get an A. Offers lots of extra credit, as well. Definitely recommend this course.

If you are planning on attending BSU for Music Education, I would consider switching right now. She is not up to date with what current public schools are like. She teaches only the things she likes. In Music Ed, you will not cover Orff, Kodaly, Technology, Special Education, Sequencing, Curriculum, Music Literacy or really any Music Ed basics.

The best class i ever took, all the exams are online and easy plus more extra credit concerts and quizzes. I got all the points 1050/1050. if you attend class you go like 350 points already, an easy A. i would recommend her to anybody.

Pretty good at teaching the material and includes LOTS of extra credit so everyone can get a good grade. She takes attendance so make sure to go to every class to get credit. She makes sure to try to incorporate humor into her lectures and is helpful!

Way too much work for a 2 unit class. Worksheet homework and a quiz for EVERY class meeting, 3 lesson plans, prof. tests, resource hubs, must attend concerts. Miss ONE class and 2.5% grade penalty each absent. Easy A if you just keep up with the constant work, It's just a pain though

This teacher is amazing. She made a choir grow from 18 two years ago to 60+ this past year. We sing in other languages, other time periods, and even out of state! Join this choir, it is non-audition and fun!! But don't talk in class please!!!!!!!
