Prof Miller is my favorite at GW so far. Grading is 3 tests, all multiple choice and she curves, plus one easy paper and group project. If you go to class and pay attention or read the book, youll be fine. She really cares about her students, she takes time to learn everyones name and will listen during office hours for any issue, grade or not.

Professor Miller is very straight forward. She gives you all the tools you need in order to do well. She creates clear presentations that she will share on blackboard with you. She also provides you with a study guide that mirrors exactly what will be on the test. She is passionate about the topic and illustrates that she cares for her students.

I loved Dr. Miller's class!! This isn't an easy-A class; you do have to study pretty hard for the exams and spend time on the assignments. A lot of the info is common sense, though, and she does a great job at breaking stuff down. I took this class already thinking about studying communications, and her class helped to solidify my interest.

Professor Miller is a decent professor, but I did not overly like this class. I did the reading and went to every class, but did not do as well as I would've liked. I recommend taking this class only if its a requirement as I was not the biggest fan of it.

Professor Miller lays out the criteria at the beginning of the semester. There are three tests, a group project, and most of the rest is up to you. I would definitely attend lectures as the book is more difficult to follow and the tests generally just reflect material learned in class.

Amazing professor. Your grade is based on 3 tests, a group project, and participation. She makes it very clear that you don't have to come to class if you don't want to. She is very interesting and her lectures make you want to come. Go to office hours and get to know her, it never hurts. You do have to study for the tests but the information easy.

Prof Miller is great - 3 tests at 25%, one group project (graded very easily) 15%; participation 10%; she offers extra credit before every test and is very clear in what you need to know; definitely not out to get you; multiple choice can be confusing but definitely doable

Great professor!! Makes class interesting and involving for students. Makes a lot of references to videos and games that she shows in class. I loved this course, not a lot of homework mainly just readings. Overall, great teacher that truly cares about her students.

Attendance is not mandatory but if you go to class and pay attention / take notes - especially when she gives examples of concepts in class you will do fine on the tests. The "tough" questions on tests are usually scenarios of concepts covered in class. She typically offers about 2-5 extra credit points on each test!

This class had so much potential and was a letdown. The lectures and presentations were very dry and not interesting even though some of the topics were. The tests were a bit challenging even after studying. You feel as though this information is common sense and yet she applies it and makes it challenging. Grades group project very harshly.

Prof. Miller is very nice and takes the time to learn everyones name in a 150 person lecture. However, the class is very test heavy and so if you do poorly on one exam than it ruins your grade and she admits people don't do well on the first one. There are not many opportunities for bonus points and there are not many available when they are.

Miller is super nice and caring, which is largely why she is such a good professor. She learns everyone's names and emphasizes class participation, even with about 100 kids. She is fair and the class is very well organized. Sometimes lectures can be a bit dry, but not usually. There is some extra credit, and exams are doable if you study enough.

If you are a student who likes order, then you'll love Prof. Miller. She uploads the whole course at the beginning of the semester so you know what's coming. She rarely changes anything. The key to getting a good grade in the class is to go to the lectures (even if you don't read the textbook). The examples given in class are on the exams.

Prof. Miller's tests are super straightforward and get easier as you progress through the semester; as long as you look at her online slides (you honestly don't even need to attend class), get a good group for the group blog post project, and study her study guides/bolded terms in the book, you will get an A. Pretty easy class, and she cares a lot!

Prof Miller really cares about her students- learns everyones name (in a big lecture) and is always open for office hours. However, to do well in this class you must study. Many people find the tests to be challenging! She is a good prof and the class is not hard if you study and take good notes!

She's my fav professor at Gw my far. Takes an interest in her students, learned the names of everybody in my lecture. You should go to class and take notes -- very helpful for the test. Tests arent as hard as others are saying, if you go pay attentions and put the time in you should get an A no problem.
