Really interesting well spoken guy with a lot of interesting things to say. does go off on rants quite often, but they always lead to great insights no matter where the digression leads. be prepared to do a lot of work on your own. some things he left purposefully unclear because he wants you to think for yourself. will help you if you ask for it

Jeff is awesome. He's extremely friendly and a wealth of useful knowledge. He makes a fairly dry topic pretty interesting, and has a lot of industry experience to share. He does get sidetracked pretty easily, but he'll make sure you know everything you need to take away from this class.

I just finished to attend my audio tech 2 class with him. Great! i learned so much in his class and i'm glad we did a lot of practice hands-on the gear. extremely knowledgeable on audio techn. great!

It seems as though Jeff is slipping big time. For my 421 class, he showed up late about 40% of the time. By late, I mean.... around 1 hour late. He doesn't really give techniques on how to do Post Production. He also goes off on LONG Tangents about AVID for usually an hour. Not happy with him at all....He is very intelligent, tho.

Jeff is a great teacher - he REALLY knows his stuff, and will tell you anything about anything. Some people post about his being sidetracked, but really, the asides and anecdotes are fascinating. He cares about the students and makes sure you get a lot out of the course.

Jeff is great. He knows a lot about the material, but he gets sidetracked at the drop of a hat. As long as he stays on the topics at hand he is extremely helpful. I've taken Mix 1 and 340 with him and it's been pretty good. Just be upfront with him and you'll get a lot out of his classes. Super nice guy too!

really great teacher and awesome person. one of the better mpe teachers. i feel like i actually understand digital audio because of him. he really makes you think and figure out things yourself. he really cares about his students and sympathizes for students ****ed by berklee

Jeff was great, but be prepared to eat sh** on the final because he doesn't follow the curriculum at all and the common final's about 5 years old. Very interesting, but a sufferer of adult ADD.

Had Jeff concurrently for Tech 2 and Mix 1. THE most caring and compassionate teacher I've ever had here. Made really dense and intimidating material easy to handle, although he has a tendency to go on long tangents. Listen to his tangents though, he's got a lot of great stuff to say. A+++

Best teacher I ever had. HE gives tough proficiencies, but is very fair, and teaches you a lot that relates to the real world. Very nice man. Sincerely cares about students progress.
