Down to earth guy, patient, listens & gives honest but critical feedback. If you don't pass his class it's because you're lazy. He really cares and wants the best for each student, wish there were more professors like this on campus and around the world. He makes it easy to learn and be involved, no pressure except the pressure you put on yourself.

We had very interesting discussions in this class! Professor Knorr graded pretty easily. Although he could be hard to get in touch with, he was understanding towards me when I had to miss class a few times due to personal reasons. He was a good listener and lecturer. He had a good sense of humor and sunny disposition that put me at ease. I had fun!

One of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure to learn from. Professor Knorr gave intriguing lectures and made poetry interesting for his students. He even brought a coffee maker to class so we could have fresh coffee while reading! Also gives great feedback on essays and overall not a hard grader. I looked forward to going to his class.

Comment:
Prof. Knorr is laid back & this class was an easy A. There were 4-5 papers at most. I didn't like that this class was combined with another professor he's friends with, I forgot his name, but he's a total jerk. I personally feel he was predjudiced towards me because of how I look. He asked if we had questions & was rude & sarcastic when answering.

Knorr is a great professor. Circulates around the English department. Class participation is highly encouraged. Didn't find him to be too harsh of a grader or a teacher. Gave me a CD. Funny, easy to approach. Sometimes canceled class w/out sending an email, just left a note on the door. Engaging, wants you to pass. Kinda bad at replying to emails.

One of the best people I've ever known. Really cares about his students and makes the text easy to relate to. Ties in his own personal experience and is lenient enough within the class to make you want to go the extra mile. Cracks a lot of jokes but makes sure you do your work; all papers are based off of the reading. Great teacher!
