Absolutely horrible. He has no business whatsoever teaching students. He is repulsive and disgusting and won't teach you a damn thing. Don't be fooled by people who say his classes are "easy"...yeah you don't have to do anything in class (just make sure to bring your internet cable), but his finals are terribly written. One word Miller: RETIRE!

Great guy! Class moves slow for our benefit. He is clear with what he is expecting of us and is just looking for people to participate which will only help us. One of my all time favorites. If you just listen, you can't help but learn!

He's too damn nice. He takes his students' advice on how to teach the class, and that's a bad idea. Past students told him they didn't like to read, so now we learn from a magazine instead of a case book. If he wasn't so damn passive, I think he could be a really good prof.

He's really nice and it is clear that he wants us to understand the law. It might be slow pace, but it is done to help you understand various points of view on the law. Great guy and prof.

Just memorize the rules and you'll do great. Most other students think he's easy so they don't spend time memorizing the rules. So take advantage of that fact and study hard for his classes. Easy to get high grades b/c of that. Nice guy. I hate his bright colored ties though.

Not enough room to bash. Exam is more like mind reading, trying to figure what he meant. ?s have several possible "right" answers, but one is more right. Class is hell...and he turned off the internet. Creepy, forgetful, & desperately ne

There is a reason he's called Freaky J. But at least, and unlike many others at this school, he tries to be fair and does not play favorites.

Nice guy, just a bit redundant. He puts together his own 'book', so there is no case law for the entire semester. I thought this would be great, but I was pretty bored. It's a good approach to learning black letter law, but it was a long semester.

Exam was so unclear that many students had to write notes in the margins explaining why they chose the answer they did. Could be condescending when asked questions in class.

Glazed over look and rumpled suits that are 4 sizes too small - but if you ignore that, the teaching is fair and he's pretty cool with answering questions and is approchable - just a little confusing.
