Wallace is very hard, but even the music students failing his class have been known to hail him as God. He is a brilliant man, extremely helpful, and he has a great sense of humor. Just stay on top of everything you do. He wants you to succeed, but will not hesitate to fail you if he thinks you're not ready to move on.

Doctor Wallace is the best music professor I have ever met, and has a wonderful sense of humor. He has a passion for music & it reflects in his teaching skills. His essays are easy and he offers extra credit if needed. I highly recommend this class!!!

Dr Wallace is amazing! A great man, a a great teacher! Extremely knowledgeable as well as with an excellent sense of humour. You'll have to read to book a little more. He enjoys sharing his gift of music with everyone he teaches. Things to know: His favorite concerto is Prokofiev's third, his favorite pianist is martha argerich, and he hates tchaikovsky. As much fun as this class was, I had to read the textbook. Lectures are very interesting. A very well rounded teacher. made A's in both music lits.

I took his summer class and I enjoyed it more than I thought. His tests are 100 questions and come straight from the book, so if you hate reading you might not want to take this class. He is very knowledgable in different areas, so you will learn more than just music in his class.
