Comment:
Dr. Jones is GREAT. I love the way he made us assign group points (basically you can't just give everyone 100% because he knows everyone didn't always do the same amount of work.) The quizzes were HARD - you have to read. However, I learned a TON in this class and Dr. Jones made it fun and interesting. Loved it.

Comment:
Very tough teacher. He doesn't input grades into blackboard until the very last minute. He has a confusing and unnecessary way of giving credit for group participation. The tests are far more complex than the study guide provided. Essay questions need to be exactly what he wants or you will not get much credit. Do not recommend if not required

Jones is a really smart guy. He knows what he is talking about. Which can be a problem sometimes. He is unclear in his explanations & will try to use big words just to try to confuse you more. His tests are pretty hard and mostly from the book, but he curves so just study for a bit and you'll do fine.

The tests are not common knowledge and require studying for if you want an A, or even a B. The class averages on the tests are not that great. I love learning about human resources, but If I could go back in time and take it with a different professor, or even online *cringes* I totally would.

His class was okay, sometimes he was funny and had good relating stories, sometimes he rambled and picked on people.

Comment:
Jones grades fairly harshly, especially when it comes to exam essay questions. He is interesting, pretty funny and has lots of examples to tie in the material. He's really passionate about the material. I learned a lot, and loved being in the class. He's fun, but hard. Most test material comes from lecture rather than textbook.

This class is hard, getting an A is not impossible though, you just have to really work for it. Make sure you study, this is not a class you can just get by without putting effort into it. The tests are hard. He also gives pop quizzes so attendance is important and so is reading the book. It was a hard class, but it forced me to learn a lot.

first exam was easy, the rest are really hard. When we do work in groups to do a case we feel like we did good, we have a smart group, but we get bad grades and I don't really understand why. He explains things well in class but I wouldn't recommend his class unless you have to take it.

He is very picky and almost impossible to answer his essay questions. He gives you a test that takes about 2 hrs to do, but only get an 1hr and 20 min to finish it. His tests are well over 140 pages and it's impossible to study it all.
