She can be a harder grader in English than Italian: she respects that we are new to the language. ITA 104 was a good class, just based on daily translations. I highly suggest it. ITA 120B was a literature (mostly poetry) class but without nonsense symbolism, just the facts-- also a good course. Take the courses seriously and you will get a B+ or A.

you get to read the most interesting novels you'll ever read in any lit class. she is enthusiastic, can be a little jumpy sometimes but overall a good professor. grades okay, make sure for your paper you check the grammar twice before turning it in, 'cause she takes out alot of points just for grammar mistakes.

Easy class to take, but grades based on only a few essays, so easy to get a B/B+, but hard to stand out with an A. Majority of the films we watched were good. >50% B&W. I learned about history more than film. Very knowledgeable prof, and caring.

Very nice, very knowledgable, very helpful if you come to office hours. She is excited about people learning and interested in people thinking for themselves, not just regurgitating the readings or repeating her own opinions back to her. I really admire her. One paper, 2-essays on midterm, fair grader.
