Comment:

Definitely the BEST professor I have had at UF. He is so nice and loves all his students and it shows in his teaching! He knows a LOT of information so you have to know a LOT of information as well for the tests. It's strictly memorization but it's a great class honestly. No textbook needed! His tests are from his own powerpoint slides.

Comment:

Nice teacher, however does not use elearning, teaches from powerpoints that are emailed out the day before each class. Tests are all based on memorization of way too much information. makes the class way harder. take with another professor!!! takes 2 weeks to give back exams, also no curve (94+ is an A) (91-93 A-)

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE professor at UF. His class isnt easy and attendance is mandatory, but you are guaranteed to lean. I never minded waking up early for his class and i actually looked forward to studyong the material. He definitely cares about his students. A true gem among not so great professors here at UF.

This man may be the nicest person to ever exist. I HIGHLY recommend talking to him a bit and being inquisitive, its worth it and he is happy to help. The class is pretty interesting and he does a great job facilitating information but you have to know EVERYTHING. If it is on a slide somewhere, regardless if it seems insignificant, know it.

Great professor. There isn't any textbook, so actually going to class is extremely important. It's easy to see that he really enjoys what he teaches. This is a really good class to expand your understanding of the animal industry.

Great professor, one of my favorites. You have to go to class and take notes, he sends out powerpoints before class. Study ALL of the stuff he goes over in detail. The tests are challenging but not impossible. Gets to know the students and really tries to help them out.

One of my favorite professors. You have to go to class, but the lectures are interesting. You don't need the book, and the tests are really hard and detail oriented, but the class will definitely prepare you for vet school.

try to get notes from another student who previously took the class.. your hand will FALL off trying to write down all the notes in this class. attendance is a MUST.. no way around it but you will learn alot!

Teaches you a lot of information and expects you to retain it. Handouts (HW) are pretty much teach yourself, but he will gladly answer any questions in office hours (which is hard to come by since he's so busy). Listen to him carefully. Notorious for telling one student one thing, and a different student something else. Test grades slightly biased.
