Deffinetely a great professor to have for Economics. He knows his stuff and keeps the rather dry subject interesting. You surely need to read the book, because the tests are right out of it and DO the aplia, it really helps!

he likes to get side tracked a lot. he loves to talk about his wife and kids too.. and just likes to rant on his random feelings for the day. he's not a horrible professor, but if you're not one of his favorites from day 1 you're screwed for the rest of the semester

Peterson is a great professor! His class can get a bit tedious, however if you do all of the assigned homework and articles your test grades will be satisfying. You must do your own work and studying to get a good grade. Do your aplia! It is easy and a good way to prepare for the tests.

Comment:

Professor Peterson is a very engaging and open teacher. Very straight forward Professor with few surprises. Prepares students thoroughly for tests and goes over homework ad nauseam. Requires the use of an online teaching tool, aplia.com This piece of work is mind bogglingly easy if you pay attention in class. Learn from me: do aplia, hw, & study!

He's okay... Gives a lot of article summaries, and homework. Had to use the Aplia computer program (35$)to solve eco problems. gives review questions for tests , which are not too hard and his final is not accumulative. He wonders off topic a lot thought!

He knows what he's talking about in teaching this class. He is very good and is probably one of the funnier teachers I've ever taken. Just don't ask him to change his teaching style: he doesn't give a "review" but will drill the information into you during class. If you show up and pay attention you'll be fine.

This guy is boring and its very tough to get him wrt economics.. He always talks about his family n stuff rather giving attention on his subject.. And one need to spend $35 or something for the Aplia which is tho 15% of the course grade and is easy.. He gives H.W. and thts a headache.. His tests are average bt still its difficult to get over 90..

I simply loved him.. He is funny and always tries to make the class not boring... Don't miss too many class, don't be late, do your article summary, and learn from Aplia (internet homework he assigned every week) and you will get an A!!! Guaranteed!! He is a really nice guy. He makes himself available before class to help you with the homework. He doesnt give test reviews which makes them a little harder. If you just pay attention and READ THE CHAPTERS you'll do fine. He also tells alot of stories about his daughter

Get to class on time, submit homework on time, listen to his lectures and take notes. I had him for the 8 o'clock class and i managed to get an A and i worked too. Put in the effort bcuz it'll be worth it. Do take him for his classes are interesting. He does talk about his family but in the end it all winds together with what he's teaching.
