Skip this class. Horrible professor-- stuck in the past. Constantly tries to sound more clever than he is, extremely pretentious, borderline narcissistic. Very outdated views on law; doesn't realize this isn't the 1920s anymore. There's almost 100 more years of new court cases, rulings, and progress, but it's all ignored.

Great teacher for property. He's an extremely busy guy, but doesn't come off as overly important, and cares about his lowly Property class (he's mainly a Con. law prof.).

Good luck getting black letter law out of him (go to Gilbert's for that). Otherwise a truly great, entertaining lecturer. Get him in office hours, he doesn't do email too well.

Have fun with the RAP the first semester! Use Gilberts for Black letter law but pay attention at the end of second semester when he goes off on con law tangents ie. eminent domain
