Prior to taking his classes I was warned to drop them. Thank god I did not! Yes, the class is reading intensive and requires you to THINK/CONCEPTUALIZE but that's what you're in college for. As long as you're on top of your assignments, you will do well. His comments are to be taken as funny sarcasm; people are way too sensitive! JUST DO YOUR WORK

Dr. Greene was the most knowledgeable, dedicated and committed professors I have ever had the honor of learning from. He is very blunt and demands the best from his students, because he wants them to succeed. If you show him respect and, are willing to learn he will help you and, work with you to help you excel in ways you never thought possible.

I took a first year seminar with him. It was worth the experience.... Let's just say I learned on thing and that is to never take another class with him. Goodluck getting higher than a C+ if you're not a good writer.

Dr. Greene is a very intelligent guy but lets his ostentatious ego run rampant as a professor. He's been teaching for generations and is still awful at it. He acts superior to everyone around him all because he's an author of some history books no one's ever even heard of, let alone read!

Never seen a professor that was so unbelievably rude to his students. People say there's a way to get on his good side, but I truly don't believe it. He's very smart but has the biggest head/ego i've ever seen.

Has the biggest ego i've ever seen. It's impressive to be a published author but he flaunts it in a very pompous manner. Constantly berates and belittles students for little to no reason. I will never take another class with him, he even insults students with special needs. He treats 100 level courses like there post graduate classes.

Once you recognize Dr. Greene's extremely stern and strict personality, take it as a friendly challenge. Don't be afraid of him, but don't think you're better than him. If you prove to him that you are there to learn and you want to get your money's worth, he will open up to you and teach you about anything you'd like to know.

GREAT professor. I learned so much from his class. Can be very intimidating at first but once you get passed that you learn to really appreciate him and his class. The 1st day I had him I called my mom and told her I hated him because he was mean. She said just wait he'll end up being your favorite by the time the class is done with. She was right.

Dr. Greene is an inspiring man. He has changed my attitude toward learning and has made me realize the importance of taking college seriously. He is supportive and intelligent. He has made History my most interesting subject and has changed my life immensely, his impact on my life has been amazing and I look forward to learning more from him.

I took almost every class Dr.G offered at the College. The first class I had with him as a freshmen I cried through but then I realized it was the only class I learned in. It also helped me decide what I wanted to do after College. I love that he talks about his family. He is a great father. I like knowing my professors are human beings also.

So what if he loves himself? Who doesn't? So what if he mentions his family in class? Does it kill you to listen to someone else for a second? And his comments toward other students are never THAT bad...you DO have to keep a class interesting otherwise everyone would fall asleep. His classes are only difficult if you don't do the work.

He is extremely intimidating in class, but when you go to his office for help, he is more then willing to. He tends to talk about his family a lot and knock students down, but when you are a useful contributation he lets you know as well. He doesn't care if he offends you, and tends to be very full of himself. Overall you will learn a lot from him.

He is very intimidating and does act like his class is the only only one you are taking but he will help you if you need it and he does care if you are having difficult time absorbing the work he will help but only if you ask. Although he is very full of himself and needs to talk about his family alot less.
