Class setup was kind of confusing at first as far as due dates & organization go, but I got used to it. Liked the discussion thread for asking help of the prof. & students. Assignments just as described below. The paper seems daunting but I found that I learned a lot through it & the class. Prof. updated us often. Content resources are available.

7 week course was super easy! No need for book, all information found online. All test answers are online and discussion information found on CIA world fact book website. Organized and easy professor! Definitely recommend! EASY A!

This Geography class I took was a 7 week one and it was actually pretty easy. You don't HAVE to read, but I recommend you do. All test answers are online. Super super easy class. Pretty well organized. Professor is way nice and responded to all my emails. I definitely recommend taking this class

This teacher was so easy. All I did was copy paste facts from CIA world fact book and cited it for all the discussion and the research paper TOO. The test are easy because it give you the answers after you take it then you can print out the right answers and take the test again and get a 100. I got a 100% in the class and barely used my brain. EZ

Comment:

He is almost non-existent as a prof. in his on-line class. However, if you keep ontop of thing and treat it like a real class it can be pretty easy. Test every 2 weeks, lots of reading and a moderately tough mid-term and final basically sums it up. Just don't expect much from him.

Online - 7 week class. I had no interest in this subject prior to taking it, but came away loving Geography and wanting to learn more. The professor never responded to my 3 e-mails and he had due dates all messed up which confused us all. But if you do the work, you'll actually learn something and will get a good grade, too.

I took Gea 1000 online class there are three exams which are unlimited trys if you do the reading you will be fine and weekly discussions along with a research project. The final is culmulative just do your work and you will get an A.

Took him for a 7 week online course. 6 weekly discussions, 3 tests (you can take an unlimited amount of times in the 1 week block), and one two page paper on a country within the realm your group is assigned. He does not respond to e-mails for WEEKS; however, if you know how to take an online class you will be fine. If its your first, skip it.

Honestly, it doesn't get any easier than Mr. Swanson. I took him for World Geography online and all I had was 6 discussions, piece of cake, and I had 3 tests that are open book, and a midterm and a final. I him for a 7 week online. The easiest class ever. Only lack is that he doesn't respond to e-mails but you don't ever need him so no worries. :D!

Mr Swanson. This class online is not as easy as you think at first. Yes the tests are open book, but he doesnt tell you that you need the book, theres only 3 exams and you have to do disscusion questions. If you arent througho you get points taken off, and if you do bad on one exam its hard to get your grade back up to pass Find a different teacher

Interesting class lectures. A no nonsence prof. Knows his stuff but you have to lsisten. Teaches from a Model For Studying a Place and once you know it you can apply it to anywhere in the world. You must know how to write responses to essay questions that make sense. Very fair and will give you all the help you need.

This class is a fairly easy a, but you have to be very thorough on the answers to the test. Each section has like 10 parts and if you miss one part, he counts off for the whole thing. He is extremely boring and monotone. You will not learn anything- root canals are more fun than this class. Your best bet is to take the class online; much easier.

Mr. John Swanson...what can be said about this man. To sum everything up, this class is simply something that you just need to get out of the way depending on your major. It's an easy A, open book tests, some extra credit. You will NOT learn a THING! He rambles, is VERY unclear and disorganized. Just take it, get the A and peace out!

Jesus Christ. Monotone does not say enough for this guy. At least the tests are insanely easy because the guy clearly doesn't know what the hell he's doing. Attendance is not taken, so you only need to show up for tests. They're all open book, and it's pretty much a "write how you feel" test, so there aren't any wrong answers.

Extremely easy class if you can research well on the internet, because that's how you do the tests (which are also open book). His lectures are just narrations about his long life and current world events. He is a great storyteller, but unfortunately his stories make you drowsy.

Holy crap. you will go through a pot of coffee in the first hour. if you fall asleep easily than you should not take this class. very easy course, open book tests, 1 project. caution YOU WILL FALL ASLEEP!!!
