Dr. Sasmor jumps all over the place and only does stuff straight from the book. He doesn't give you good notes to study from so you're always lost. Its hard to pay attention and keep up. He expects you to know what your doing before you show up to class.

Do not take an upper level math if you are an incoming freshman, he expects you to know prior material that you might not have gotten to in high school. He expects that you can finish new problems of new material on your own. Slader and Khan Academy will be your best friend.

Dr. Sasmor was seriously the best math professor ever. He has tons of office hours and is always willing to help. He is interested in what you want to do with your life and always guides you in the right direction. He is funny in a nerdy way and his classes are never boring. Lots of homework, but that is expected in math classes.

Dr. Sasmor is one of the most brilliant people I have ever met. His classes are the most difficult I've taken, but I have learned more in his classes than any other. He is also really funny and entertaining, making his classes enjoyable to go to. He is also an awesome adviser. Best teacher at SHU.

Funny guy, but rough class overall. I'm not a math person to begin with, but he flies through material. Although tests are straight forward for the most part as long as you know the material, it can be hard to follow along in class. Seems to expect prior knowledge, I had trouble keeping up.

He is an excellent professor and adviser. He keeps you interested in the field and uses many practical examples. Reviews are straight forward and parallel test content. He is extremely organized so you always know what to expect. Material isn't the easiest, but he's always willing to help.

Made phyics fun and very understandable. Dr Sasmor is always willing to go above and beyond to assist students with their studies. Recieved an A in first sem and A- in second. Brought interesting props to class to help explain material. Be prepared to work, but also to learn!!
