She goes on rants about stuff that doesn't relate to the class. it gets boring most times, but she's a really sweet professor and if you do what she says, its an easy A. just hand your work in on time. You have a bunch of essays and no final, just a research paper.

STRICT with timeliness! 3 lates 1 absent, and 4 absences fail. So you may not want it at 7:55am. She doesn't really teach. Her discussion has nothing to do with the essays and she never takes you through a progression. It felt like a high school class. 2 take-home, 4 in-class. Good at writing, especially in class, then it MIGHT be easy A

She is a very sweet professor. However, she is very meticulous about MLA format. Often the discussion in class is off-topic. But, overall, the experience in this class was fine.

She makes things very difficult for the student because papers seem to be graded on an ever changing rubric. You'll done one thing and she'll say how that's not acceptable even though she said to do that last class. She wastes time in class talking about things that are off topic and then expect you to write a good paper. Do not recommend at all.

I really wanted to like Professor Entes and ever since the semester started, I kept hoping that she would be better as a professor. While she may be sweet, she often is off topic and her assignments and exams are unclear.

If you are not excellent with writing essay, then do not take her. Also, if you enter the class after 10 second late she counts it as late attendance.

I didn't like Professor Entes at first. I went into her class with the mentality that I was a great writer from high school. She didn't seem to agree. However, after actually taking the time to listen to her advice I improved my writing and wound up with an A. Listen to her respectfully and participate often, and you will succeed.

Great professor! At first I did not like her at all- I felt her to be overly obsessed with the MLA handbook & very demanding too. However, I got used to her about a month into the class, & in the end really liked her. She's a really sweet person, and a lenient marker too. Just do the HW, be on time, participate in her lectures, and it's an easy A .

She is one of those professors that get off topic which is nice since class goes by really fast. She also brings her students to field trips to the theater. Her grading on your papers is very lenient, you have to be a dumbass to fail this class. Easy A.

She goes off topic a lot and is really boring and tedious. She made us get the NYTimes for a month and out of maybe 25 newspapers, we might have read 5 articles. Mainly she would point out the ads and read the headlines. Her comments on the essays are confusing and she doesn't tell you how to improve but rather what you are lacking.

You will learn a bunch about MLA and proper citations. She is lenient with grading on essays and is very fair with them. She values participation a lo. You will read mostly short stories and famous poetry. She loves plays too and we had to see one for the Research Paper. Only complaint is that the lectures were boring and dragged out. Sorta-easy A.

She is a very good professor. She's very helpful and gives a lot of feedback on your papers. She's very strict with latenesses and absences, and can get off topic. Make sure to read all the assignments and participate! In order to get an A, you HAVE to write your papers in the style she wants them in. Highly recommend her!

I have mixed views of her. At first I didnt like her and I would still say if you dont write in the style she wants you to she wont give you high marks. But eventually you start to get used to her. However there are about 3 in class essays. Overall i would say an average professor :)

Professor Entes' class is what I call an ideal English class. The theme of the class is original and classic, yet it teaches the student about love and friendship. The class, however, demands that you are a decent writer, which means knowing your subject-verb agreement, pronouns, etc... There are total of 7 essays, and reading is required. Fair.
