An ok class. Boring material, lots of tedious busywork for the online class. You can definitely get an A if you try. I barely put any effort in during the 8 weeks and still passed. You don't need the book. The test answers, word for word, are all found on google.

Great instructor! She is very intuned with technology. She utilized online tools and conference calls for extra credit. Her blackboard is very straight forward, no surprises. Extremely organized and highly recommend taking her class!

Easy class as long as you don't miss any of the cut offs. What some people on here don't realize you have to "understand" the concepts of the material, not just memorize them. If you find it interesting then it won't be hard at all. Around 2-2.5 hours of work per week. Exams only require a solid 2 hour study session.

Not an easy class, her exams are really long and you have to remember tons of confusing concepts. This is like a university level class, so don't think you'll get by w/ slacking off. If you want an easy A, look elsewhere. But you will be prepared for university classes! She assigns homework & quizzes every week.

The online class is great, but there is A LOT of material to remember for a 3 unit class. You do 4 open book tests, 2 on-campus exams (no open book).She offers tons of extra credit work(easy). The worksheets & quizzes every week do help you learn the material, and u MUST read the book to do them! If your interested in Psych, take her! I learned!!

Very helpful teacher who answers questions/emails directly, provides valuable study sheets, and teaches great Psyc. She knows her stuff, and wants you to as well. Not difficult to pass class, as long as you read the book and complete your tasks. Allows extra credit because she wants you to succeed. I definitely recommend.

she is one of the best teaches I have eve had. she makes the class very easy, will help you anytime you need help, and is very clear with what she wants from you. I would reccommend her to anyone looking for a great teacher.

Mrs. Phillips is great. Very matter of fact. Had an online class with her and she was very specific as to her wants and not wants. Very much liked her. If you are thinking of doing an online class this is the teacher for you.

Psych students BEWARE! She is the rudest, dumbest and most HORRIBLE professor i have ever had! Not only is she a dumb biznotch, but she is an extremely bad teacher. She makes the easiest topics sound hard and her lectures are SOOO boring. I recommend that anybody who is interested in psych stay the F*** away from her class!

I feel like I got scrwed over. I talk to everyone who has taken PSYC 100 and I hear from them that it was an easy 'A'. The moajority of pople I ask their test were 50 questions. Judith makes a tricky 80 questions test. I can not belive that i did not get an 'A' in this class, after all I was a 4.0 student untill she came in in my life.

She is a very good teacher. Her powerpoints are easy to follow, gives homework and other assignments that contribute to further learning. Test are not hard, as long as one studies. I would take her again in a heart beat!

I failed the first time I took this class with an other professor, but Phillps online class was super helpful. I did great the second time around. Read your chapters, do the assignments and discussion boards. good luck!

i took phillips over the summer and she was a wonderful teacher. This class was easy. She makes the subject so interesting that i thought the class always went by fast. she gives you internet hw one project and a lot of group work. You jst have to pay attention to her lectures to pass the class.The only downfall is her test questions are tricky.

Good teacher, all of her lectures are on powerpoint, and she also gives a review sheet for each exam. Study your class notes and the sections in the book for the tests, she will often ask questions that she didn't lecture on but were in the book.

She was really nice the first day of class on suddenly turned into a total witch!! The whole class agrees w/me on this too. I'm not sure why. As far as the class goes despite her being a witch...she easy to understand and her tests are very fair if you study the study guide and show up to class everyday. I feel neautral about recommending her.
