Great teacher. Very friendly and humorous. Spends the extra time to make sure the class gets the material. Be very careful about attendance, you only get two days out, after that it's 20pts off of your test scores.

Mr. Serafin is an amazing professor! He is extremely helpful before and during class. As long as you participate in class and do your homework this class should be a breeze. Mr. Serafin is not "condescending" and does not "make fun of students". He expects his students to pay attention and not disrupt the class. If you choose to he will match wits.

I've never been good at math, but he makes it easier. He goes over the homework he assigns in class, and he offers tutoring beyond class hours. He is very precise and too the point in his teaching, so it's hard to misunderstand him. Whatever you do DO THE HOMEWORK! If you don't you'll be completely off track in class.
