Dr. Smith is the worst professor I have had here at KU and has no idea what she is talking about when it comes to coaching. She doesn't even know sports nor does she understand what coaching in the real world is really like. You don't coach by a book. Things are always changing. DR. SMITH SUCKS!!!!!! SHES HORRIBLE!!!!!! She has no respect.

I am just finishing up the coaching minor at KU and I have had Dr. Smith for methods of coaching, metheval coaching, the coaching internship and a few gym classes. She's not as bad as everyone says she is. It's just tough love so suck it up, the real world isn't going to hold your hand and she creates this atmosphere to prepare you.

Golf/Volleyball was really fantastic! Yes, there are those students that think this is the Olympics, but good for them for trying hard. She is really easy in Golf and Volleyball, very to the point.(Spring Elective) You simply have to show up for class. The exams are "Okay".

SNOWBOARDING-BEST CLASS for a gym. Really easy. nice lady. snowboard every tuesday from 2:45-7:30 at blue mt.till march 1st then the class is over. have to do a pkt of questions and then take a test at the last class. take this class if you can.

I had Dr. Smith back in 2005. She really is the worst prof. at KU. There is no other job she could do except teach college they would never put up with her mouth in public education. I have been teaching for 2 years now, and the way she treats people haha if I did half of what she does I would be fired. If anyone at KU sees this get rid of her.

I went into the semester fearing her but she was great. She was friendly to me, open, helpful with work, and comincal. I had a great experience and I feel she was ery fair with my grade. I did notice other students had problems with her but if you respect her and her class, she will do the same back.

Definately stay on her good side, she can get pretty nasty. Tests are pretty hard, lots of work, constant projects. Class in fun, she knows what she's talking about, but she can be really hot and cold.

I believe she is the best professor I have had so far at Kutztown. her tests are difficult because she wants you to really understand what it means to incorporate health and physical education into the classroom. You will have to work very hard to get an A in this class.

Challenging prof with high expectations. One of the few outside of Beekey who actually teach about teaching. Yes she is critical, but her criticism is constructive and if you make the suggested changes your teaching will be the better for it. Great, authentic final project, a rewarding experience which reflects on her teaching as well as ours.
