She's a really great teacher and is always willing to help anyone with their assignments. The only issue is that she can be a bit unclear with her feedback, making it difficult to figure out what she wants for you to fix.

Professor Bass is one of the nicest professors you will ever meet! She is very approachable and willing to help with ideas and constructive criticism. I was not an art major and I enjoyed the class a ton! She grades in accordance to what you are capable of and is a fair grader. She allows class time as work time and doesn't waste time lecturing.

Judy Bass was my most favorite professor at Marymount. She totally reminds of the "joyologist" from SNL. She totally knows what she is talking about and helped me improve as an artist. I took just about every class she offered. She was the only teacher I missed after graduating. I wish all teachers would be like her! Such a free spirit! =)

Awesome class. definitely take it if you're into painting(or even as an elective). It isn't a structured/by the book class. Projects are assigned and expected at the deadline. She doesn't go over techniques, but she will work with you if you need assistance and will even make suggestions. She has her favorites but she critiques very fairly.

I hated this class, but it grew on me. Bass is a total sweetheart even if a bit spacey sometimes, she will always give useful critique and will praise at least one part of your work. There is always time to redo or fix any problems in a project before the actual portfolio review. If you put effort into this class you'll get an A for sure.

I loved Judy Bass! She was one of the rare professors there that took the time to talk to you and get to know you. She had a zany sense of humor and was very flamboyant. I loved having her as my art teacher. She rocked!

This lady rocked. She reminded me of David Bowie playing Andy Warhol in the best way possible . She really encouraged my own uniqueness and she was very knowledgable about fashion and forecasting. I learned a lot.
