Comment:

He does one problem per section and expects you to understand it already. he's doing one problem then switches to another then goes back to the one he was doing at first. It gets you confused. Math xl helps so much. You have a test for every 2 chapters. I wouldn't take him ever again.

Professor Pahl says he teaches pure Math, but almost 50% of his class are repeating Math 125. from fall 2012. I'm good in math but this teacher is a hard grader who didn't give you credit for your work. He is the most worst teacher that I have had.

Comment:

Took Prof.Pahl's math 112 and 125. He is a good professor but not very patient. He wants students to ask questions but has slight tendency to put them down when they have difficulties, which results in high drop-out rate in his classes. Exams are fairly easy but you need to show your work step by step. Overall, he is reasonable.

Math is alright for me, but this Prof. is horrible. I mean, all he do is expect us to know a math problem,when he just show us one time.If you get the problem right that he has on the board, he say you're trying to be a smart ass,if you get it wrong, he diss you what every race you are.I dont recommend him unless youre super smart, take other Prof.

I t was the worst professor I've so far. If you have n question, he will make you look stupid. The test has to be done the way he wants it. He says that if you don't memorize the formulas, you are dead in math. Also, you have to show your work when taking a test. he does not explain the lesson clearly. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

I wasn't so happy with this professor at first. Then realized his grading technique. SHOW YOUR WORK!..and try to write as clearly as possible. Math XL Helped me a lot.. Make sure you do all the homework online and you will get extra credit.. ;)it saved me..

WORST MATH TEACHER EVER!!! he is extremely rude! if u miss a class he will tell you sh*it. If you ask questions he will make you feel stupid in front of the class, his test are hard and if you don't solve the problems his way he wont give you any credit. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!

Very good Professor, for the student committed to doing homework. He is very helpful and willing to explain odds and go over every problem. Not for the student that expects a lecture and someone to hold his/her hand along the way. Exams are fairly easy. He has excellent method. Recommended for the responsible student!

He's a good professor, can be a little hard to understand but attendance is a must. He'll drop you if you're late. I enjoyed his class although it was hard but ok he's a good teacher. Not too bad, average prof. Likes to go around & see how his students solve math problems he gives in class. Overall, good professor! Thanks prof Pahl for everything!!

If you miss a few classes he will drop you imidiately and won't reinstate at all. Your pretty much on your own in this class. He is very hard to undertand because he goes fast and he gets bothered if you ask questions. He seems like a nice man but he is very strict.

The worst teacher ever. I have learned more ready the book at home. He is rude and extremely unhelpful. On the other hand, if you are just refreshing you algebra, very little homework and tests are fairly easy. If you need help, find another class. Hopefully next semester, he is gone.
