Attendance is mandatory and there is a ton of reading. You must speak in class to obtain participation points, which is a huge part of your grade. My worries of my participation conflicted with my ability to take what I could've learned from such a full content course. However, she is a very nice lady though! Funny and caring about students

Easily one of the most creative and interesting professors I've encountered. She made every class completely engaging and her unique and liberal approach breathed life into the subject... I honestly wish more professors were like her.

By far the best teacher that I have ever had. She takes you beyond the surface and into the heart of issues. She'll challenge you and make you challenge yourself and others. She not only changed my views - she helped me to change and broaden my entire way of thinking. She's the best!!!
