she is the BEST! For any student but especially freshmen she is the best teacher to have. super helpful and great at making the class easy to understand. Do the homework and you'll be perfect.

The instructor has been helpful and quick to respond to email. She requires Skype conferences, which are actually really helpful. She doesn't allow access to a schedule which caused me a lot of trouble with planning as a single mom. Not a lot of guidance but room for creativity. I think I learned what I was supposed to, and it will help in a job.

Ms. Manthey is such a sweetheart! She's very nice, extremely helpful, and answers her e-mails FAST!!! If you have any questions she will gladly answer them. She offered to offer me help even after the class if needed. She's very understanding. Do the work & it's an Easy A-- TAKE HER!!!

I took her class through Teletechnet, so all of our correspondence was through email and Skype. She is very knowledgeable in her subject matter. Her writing assignments are clear and straight to the point. As long as you are a strong writer and understand how to communicate effectively, you will do well in this course.

This class is such a waste of time. It is nowhere close to what an advanced comp class should be. It's easy to get a good grade but you will seriously learn absolutely nothing. The class is mostly focused toward teaching majors which makes no sense. If you're an English major, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLASS.

I thought this Professor Manthey was a good teacher. Come to every class, do the assignments and you will get a good grade. She gives some extra credit and explains the assignments thoroughly. I love Professor Manthey! shes awesome and extremely helpful one of the best english teachers out there if you do not enjoy english she makes it fun! assignments are fun and interactive and she never leaves you in the blank about all of the details! by far one of the most kind professors as well!

She's great at teaching, but she doesn't help you when you have problems. She thinks that her class is the only thing that matters in life. The class is pretty fun but make sure you go. If you dont, you better have a really really good excuse. Make sure to do your homework but you'll most likely get a good grade. I wouldnt take her again though.

she is pretty intelligent. i took her intesive writing course in the summer--alot of writing, but she intelligently structures the assignments and papers in a way so that you are never overwhelemed. the course text was actually pretty useful and easy to read. I think students are simply better off after taking a class with her. THANK YOU Julie!!!!

Prof. Manthey was wonderful! Easy, very involved. I took her on the teleconect class and it was great. I had heard a lot of horror stories about the teleconnect system, but her class was great. Just do the work and don't miss class and you'll ace it!
