She shows no caring towards the success of her students, no material is clearly explained and emailing her doesnt help. Not clear why she takes off points, and no clear grading scheme. Confused as why she is still allowed to teach when she clearly does not care about students or about creating a successful learning environment.

Statistics is a very difficult subject and it is just sad at how much more harder and frustrating this teacher made it out to be. This teacher made mistakes and typos in her homework assignments, her directions on the assignments were unclear and you end up guessing what she is looking for. If you have the option, take a different teacher.

I had to teach myself the material before the tests and on the homework. Her lectures are hard to follow and she covers a lot of material. She gives a lot of homework for a little bit of credit. She assigns lengthy, difficult, time consuming projects for only 10 points each. She did curve everyones grade at the end, but I still have to retake it

Im sure she knows her stuff, but she is a mediocre professor, at best. I think she has good intentions, but she is not good at teaching. She relies on technology that she doesnt know how to properly use, and whats worst, she is really tough with the grading. Shes very subjective with grading. I think she feels that her class is the only one.

Currently taking this class and this lady is trash! Doesn't read your email questions, gives bland response that do not answer the questions. Doesn't post grades. Doesn't care to post grades. No criteria given in syllabus. I am assuming she is tenured, but Roosevelt there has to be a way to get rid of her. She is not profitable to students!

if you struggle with statistics, DO NOT take prof lapidus. She does not care about her students and she brings politics into mostly every assignment. For the sake of future RU students, lapidus should be fired

June is the most incompetent professor I've encountered. She does not explain anything clearly. You have to constantly ask her what she is looking for on assignments and she grades harshly. She also only allows 2 tries per hw problem...i thought hw was supposed to help you learn the material not penalize you. Avoid this professor at all costs.

Her explanations about topics are so unclear. She is kind of lazy to help students to prepare for the exams too. At the final, I realized some of the mistakes in her answers, and she did not even say sorry for her mistakes. And how she grades students is a big question mark too (since we've submitted a lot of homework, yet never got a grade back!)

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR!!! You will not get help from this professor. If you ask for help she will tell you to look on Google or Youtube. You won't know your grade until the end of the semester. There are no clear instructions or lecture notes. Very confusing class!

Professors are not teachers nor are they babysitters. This woman is brilliant, if you are not that's not her fault. To do well in her class you must study the material on your own. This is the basic concept of an advanced level university in the United States. If you want to take the easy path find it or take her course and prevail.

I would not recommend her unless you are already good at Statistics. She does not teach things very clearly and CONSTANTLY gives the wrong answers to problems. When going over problems, she doesn't completely cover all steps. Probably going to have to retake this course with a different teacher :/

If you are better in Economics, you may take this professor. If you are not , just find another professor who knows what they are talking about. I was forced to official withdraw from this class.

This was one of the most incoherent professors and classes I've ever taken. There was never a clear game plan, either semester wise or class wise. It was just 50 different levels of terrible.

She is a nice lady, but fails on all accounts to convey any semblance of a coherent lesson. There our long pauses where she says nothing at all trying to think of words. She will flip words around when describing an economic principle then change them causing confusion. Goes on long tangents unrelated to material. Doesn't give out study guides. Bad

She will seem hard on the first day but she can be nice. On the other hand class is boring and the tests are really hard since you didn't discuss the information in class, you had to have read it. DO NOT BE LATE OR PLAY WITH YOUR CELL. She will embarrass you if you are or send you home!
