Comment:

Dr. Khan gives you all of the information that could show up on his exams and quizzes. Attend class, take notes on his slides, study those notes word for word, and you will be able pass his assessments. This class isn't difficult if you get into the habit of making flashcards and quizzing your peers a least 2-3 days before quizzes and exams.

Dr. Khan lets you know what's going to be on the quizzes and the exams beforehand. I recommend studying at least 2-3 days before the quizzes/exams if you're a person who studies at the last minute. Make index cards, it really comes in handy for the final exam. As someone stated below, there's no reason you should get less than a B.

Dr. Khan is either a hit or miss depending on your sense of humor. He is very spontaneous and you will probably laugh the entire class, but make sure you take very detailed notes and attend EVERY class. It could be an easy class if you study a few days before the test & exams.

Comment:

Dr Khan is a great teacher- He knows how to keep the class lively while teaching. Yes, the class is a lot of memorization but forming groups to quiz each other does help a lot. You should also do your best to keep up with each lesson as there is normally a quiz the week after a new lecture. Class overall is not difficult but requires good time.

The class is once a day so expect to write a lot of notes and by a lot i mean hand cramping amounts of notes, but hardly keeps the class super late. This is a pure memorization course and whats on his power points will be word for word on the exams/quiz. INVEST IN INDEX CARDS and study AT LEAST two days before the test. No reason to get under a B.

Dr. Khan is the man. He really knows what he is doing and makes the class really interesting. Its supposed to be three hours but he lets you out early if you listen. His tests and quizzes are very straightforward memorizing your notes. There is really no reason not to get at least an A. I 100% recommend

Dr. Khan is a really great man. I really enjoyed being in his class even though it was 3 hours long. The time flew by quick with his hilarious stories he tells us in class. The class is pure memorization and you copy down notes from his powerpoint slides (some are long). There is also a 1 credit opportunity (CESEP) where you can shadow doctors.

The class itself is not hard, but with SO much information you have to cram into your brain you'd think there would be more than 10 fill in the blank questions. PURELY a Memorization class, get ready to take hand written powerpoint notes, and make thousands of flash cards, and study outside of class with other students. Don't take unless forced!!!!

Dr. Khan is a great professor. He makes it VERY clear that our tests and quizzes will have the information from the slides. People are just lazy and don't want to memorize the facts. Put everything on a flashcard and you'll do just fine. There should be no reason to get anything less than a B.

This has to be the worst man to have worked at RU. The department needs to wake up and fire him. He is rude, disrespectful, and a liar. He uses you in his program so he can look good from your performance. So glad to have dropped that program. He ruins all that it offers.

Dr. Khan is HILARIOUS. He made a 3 hr. class go by so quick! I don't think I ever laughed so hard in a class. For the most part, it's a straightforward class. Do what he says (make flash cards, etc.) and you're guaranteed a good grade:)

This class was amazing and Dr. Khan is an awesome professor. Exams are straight from the lecture slides so getting an A is easy if you can memorize. Nonetheless, the reason this class is awesome is because you actually learn useful practical application of the material; Dr. Khan will teach you to use what you learn to better your lives.

dr. khan is by far the best professor at rutgers. hes hilarious extremely helpful. he knows stuff and can relate to his students. if you have any interesting in biology, take his class, you wont regret it. great guy, great teacher. thanks for everything dr khan.

Dr. Khan is a very interesting man. Great personality with an interesting teaching approach. His comments can get offensive sometimes and he likes to pick on students, but he means well. I learned a great deal in Health Issues and I'm glad I took the class. I didnt buy the book, used index cards to study for quizzes/exams, and I got an A.

-_- Dr khan is a horrible instructor with a wonderful personality. you will laugh alot in his class but wont get the grade you want. with 50% of the class a RANDOM group project and 50% of the class a Tricky/Hard/pointless/annoying/poorly constructed final you will not recieve an A. !_! ps he dont curve or care a about you

Expect him to preach to you about eating oatmeal. Warning: You'd most likely be reading one chapter out of the Health Issues book along with some additional excerpts. It is pretty much a waste of money. Try to share the book with other classmates if it's even necessary. You will need a laptop for your presentation. Only take the class if necessary.

I HATE HIM!! Just the thought of him makes me sick. He is a flat out lazy, lying, waste of life. Whenever he needs something, he'll be your bestfriend...if you need something, he'll be a cocky ***hole. DONT BELIEVE HIS LIES! He tells people lies just to make them like him.
