Comment:

There's a lot of homework for the class so do not take it if you have other classes with a heavy workload. However, you are guaranteed to get a 100% on the homework so that's nice. Professor Frey is very helpful if you ask questions or talk to her out of class. Make sure you go to the class before Thanksgiving as she gives an easy pop quiz.

Comment:

Professor Frey is the most generous, caring, and amazing professor I have ever met in my life! She really knows what she is doing in class with time management, quick exam grading, and even allows us to have "Amnesty Homework week" to upgrade our grades. She sympathizes with her students' concern and would reply promptly to the best of her ability.

Comment:

Frey would be a good teacher if this was a 400 level course. Unfortunately for a 100 level course I think she expects too much of students outside of the class room. I never learned from her lectures, and she was not helpful during office hours. There is a lot of homework and that is how i learned.

Comment:

Professor Frey is a total boss. She knows her stuff cold and is always willing to sit down with you to make sure you understand the material. Learned a great deal from her course. Great lady, 10/10 would recommend.

I'm only into October of her class but I can say I regret taking her as a professor. Her homework take 15 hours each and some aren't too easy. If you have to go to the bathroom in class you're not allowed to come back. Nice woman but kinda acts rude at some points. Don't even bother telling her to have a nice day, she won't even acknowledge you.

Professor Frey has relied on an online textbook to teach her course, and her tests have nothing to do with the homework and readings assigned from the textbook. The classes were a waste of time considering she was unhelpful when answering questions. Do not take this class if you are new to accounting. Highly regret taking this course.

She does not understand when students have problems figuring out some concepts. At times she replied to a question with "i feel like that's a bit of a dumb question." Once did the homework in class and she could not even figure out how to work some problems. Might be good for higher level classes but terrible for new comers

Professor Frey is an awesome person and a very good teacher. She has a dry sense of humor and is very smart. I'll admit, I wasn't very good at accounting but she was always willing to help and even sent me extra math problems and feedback when I asked for it.

Comment:

Frey does an excellent job teaching accounting. The workbook for the semester does a good job leading you through the progressions of techniques. Attendance doesn't subtract from your grade but it can add points if you have no less than 2 absences. She knows her stuff cold and is very helpful if you require assistance.

She's a tough teacher, but she's there cuz she wants you to learn as much as you can. If you ask her to go over the homework she won't grade it. Her tests are hard, but she's always willing to help. Great person as well
