She's very approachable even outside of class. However, she doesn't explain things well and is sometimes vague about describing what she wants you to put on assignments. She's very excitable about what she is teaching, but she teaches in a boring fashion. I want to fall asleep in her class.

Everyone has good comments about Graves, but I found her very frustrating in classes and grading. If you didn't give her EXACTLY the right thought, quote, answer, you're wrong. Slammed my GPA, when I know my grades didn't reflect my work in class.

Definitely the best teacher I've had and I'm not an Educ major. Took ****s and ****s in Education with her and learned so much. Can't wait to take another with her. Highly recommend!

Dr. Graves, as my advisor and friend, has been an amazing source of wisdom and guidance in my life. She is intelligent, well-read, organized, and dedicated to her beliefs about education. No doubt any course of hers will teach you a great deal.
