Prof. Kucera is a great professor. Her lectures are informative (I learned so much!) and she's extremely engaging. I'm an art hist major, and learned a lot about Chinese art. Not an art hist person? No worries! With Kucera in charge, you'll have fun and learn a lot to boot.

Comment:

Karil is fun and makes class great every day. I didn't know what to expect but she made the class enjoyable for art majors and non art majors alike. Exams are all memorization, so if you learn it well and practice it's possible to get complete credit. Listen in class, that's what the exams are based on- you don't really need to read the book.

Karil is really cool! very laid back and has a really dry sense of humor. Her class is fun, you will learn a lot. Although gave extra credit, she was not as easy as I thought she would be. But as long as you do the reading and go to class, you will be fine.

I love Karil! She is the best teacher I have had at Olaf so far. She is hilarious and makes me want to go to class...I am never bored! Honestly a great prof who knows her stuff and teaches it well. I'm taking another class from her next semester because I love her so much!

She's a clear and concise prof, but she has this really annoying, drag your nails on the black board, roll your eyes habit of laughing at her own jokes...that aren't jokes at all, merely fairly obvious observations. If that isn't a pet-peeve of yours, I totally recommend her.
