Very respectful to students and their opinions as well as their questions. She is crystal clear on the concepts taught in class is 100% passionate about the subject. Very easy to get a good mark in her class because of all this. If you have to take MGT 3031, do everything you can to take it with Kate, even if its an 8am class!

Her lectures are not the most interesting. Easy class with not very many readings all year. Multiple choice exams are easy and final exam is a take home essay. Take this class with her. Very organized and very good chance to boost your GPA.

Her lectures are a bit dry... but she does try very hard to make it more interesting by involving the class. Tip: For your presentation MAKE IT UNIQUE... everyone in my class seemed to do the same damn thing! Mine was different, and she loved it. Make your presentation meaningful... as though it was for real! Excellent teacher!

Kate is an excellent prof. Attendance is not mandatory, but the class is interesting and I found myself there every time. Kate outlines expectations clearly and marks fairly if you meet them. Highly recommend her for 3031.

Kate is a good teacher. she knows how to keep your attention for the class (lots o' class discussion). her tests are MC and can be a bit tricky. read the textbook and listen in class and you will do fine. However, makes sure for the final project thing, act the part (dress up and be professional)

Kate is a great prof. Extremely knowledgeable in a variety of areas. Her lectures are very well organized and she facilitates lots of interesting discussions. Her tests are M/C only and are a little too traditional, but it isn't hard to do relatively well. Good prof. Take 3031 with her without a doubt.

Really nice proff, has great lectures, tries to keep discussion going. Study your notes and you will rock the midterms! Final was really interesting to write though. Class is great!

Great prof! Helpful, clear, easy marker. She actually wants students to succeed, and isn't afraid to give credit where credit is due. If you're like me and have to take this course, take it with her! Group work for the presentation is optional, you can work alone if you want.

Kate is big on lots of class participation. She expects alot but she also teaches very well and so you understand the topic really good. I liked taking this class from Kate, I felt I learned alot more than I would have with someone else. As well her classes were interesting and I enjoyed going to them.

Kate is kooky, but she's more able to make that godawful material interesting than anybody else. Play to her interests, and mention Kant. Don't mistakenly call Adam Smith 'Adam West', she laughs really hard.

the first test is brutal, you go over the same material a lot, which is good to understand it, but kinda boring. lots of group discussion, but it's not for marks, so no pressure to join in. horrible material, but ok prof. bad hair though.

Her teaching style made me feel like I was in elementary school. I don't think she's capable of being mean. The content is very interesting, the tests are fair-to-easy (her pre-test notes superb), and her projects manageable. Friends with other 3031 profs thought the course was tough. No one in Kate's would EVER say that! Almost too easy at times.
