Comment:

(HYBRID) Worst professor I've ever taken. I studied so hard for her test and did all the homework, yet I was struggling just to pass her class. Basically I went to class and she went over examples in the book and that was it. Her tests are so difficult and nothing like the hw.

Comment:

Kathleen Meehan knows accounting! However, her exam formats are very different from the homework and lectures. Her lectures are really fast, so unless you have read the chapter before class, you'll be a chicken without a head. Prof. Meehan is very intelligent, but I would highly recommend you take another professor.

Not a very good teacher. Doesn't really explain much. Read the book for a bout half the class and showed a couple examples and then you were free to go. I would not suggest taking this teacher.

Pretty much reads the book and gives okay examples. Wants you to have read the chapters before coming to class and knowing the material. Okay teacher but 85% is learning on your own.

Very lazy and may seem rude. Not the greatest lecturer, but helpful if you ask for it. Tests are multiple choice. Provides practice test before actual test which is helpful. Allowed one page notes (front and back) for the final. There is also extra credit. Do your work and study and you'll be fine. Accounting will always require effort.

Took her for spring 2015 she is very helpful and sweet. She lays everything out for you so there's no confusion. She's very fair and although accounting1b is hard her approach makes the class passable. Multiple choice tests! not too hard, she gives A TON of extra credit take advantage! heard she was retiring after this semester.

This is a hybrid class, once a week. She explained everything very clearly, and she would help you memorize the materials at the beginning of the each class. She went over those materials again and again, it's really funny to go to her class. She's also a very patient professor, I love her class.

I had her for Accounting 1A and i love her. The tests are really hard but it made you thinking. If tests are so easy, how will you learn???? I would recommend her class to all the serious students who want to become a real accountant!!

I took this class as a hybrid class, and she was actually pretty decent. She explained exactly what was going to be on the test, and only looked at what was really important in the book. We had 2 tests, 1 final, group work, online quizzes, and homework. The class is doable if you study your notes and the assigned pages.

she talks a mile a minute in her lectures =__=. however, she did ask if anyone had any questions and made herself really available in office hours to help students. tests are of medium difficulty, there will be trick questions. the final really IS killing. i got a D on the final but an A in the class w/e.c. & hw. reading the book is crucial.

I took her online business 10 class. Unclear directions and will take valuable points away from you for making easily forgivable mistakes (and doesn't tell you what mistakes you make). Hard essay midterm and final, impossible to study for perfectly. I would recommend taking another professor if possible.

Nice person; horrible professor. She doesn't teach. Lecture is going thru a problem. No explanation of concepts/ideas. Uses online materials/textbook 4 HW/practice tests, then exams are completely different. Never goes over exams in class to explain errors/issues, never gives back exams to study/learn from. Essentially an independent study class.

She may seem mean or rude but do your best to learn the subject. Lectures are average so do your best to read and study the chapters. She will help you out with HW, extra notes etc. Use them to your advantage!
