I wish I could have taken her for both lab and lecture. She is so helpful and makes biology so easy to understand. She would also review things with me for my lecture class because my professor was not good at all. I highly recommend her!

Mrs. McCrae is an awesome teacher. I was in one of the new classes taught at my school. Other students gave her a hard time, but she did all she could to make sure we were taught thoroughly all the concepts we needed for the course. Some students were complaining because the content was not easy at all. I loved her as an instructor

Mrs. McCrae, although a tough professor, teaches in a typical college manner. She stresses the importance of the usage of her textbook, therefore in order to do well in the course the textbook must be used. She is courteous to help all students and can be contacted via Facebook / Cell phone for help outside of class as well.

Mrs. McCrae should not even have a job! She is the worst teacher I have ever encountered in my entire life! She simply reads powerpoints and is clueless about the tests since she doesn't make them up. Don't allow her bubbly character fool you! If you don't read the book, you will not pass the class; even though it's possibly to fail if you do read!

TEST ARE HARD!Definately read the book and don't expect her to tell you what will be on the test because she will sooo mislead you. Nice lady but the class is hard. Also gives opportunities for extra credit.

Definitely take her if you have to do a biology. Take her for any biology class you can. She's a very good teacher and attempts to make it interesting. If you don't have to take BIOL 1004, DON'T. It's boring as hell. She's very clear about what she wants, but the subject is hard and is very mundane. Nothing but rote memorization of useless facts.

A very very enthusiastic woman. Bio 1004 is very very dry and boring. She makes it as interesting as she possibly can though. Definitely recommended for a teacher, but try to avoid BIOL 1004 and lab at all costs. Also, lab is now mandatory if you want to take the class. If you don't like anesthetizing live mice and cutting them open, stay away.

Mrs. McRae is a very nice person, funny, and extremely sweet. Lecture class is very dull and very tough (Definitely Study). Lab was fun and interesting. I would rate Mrs. McRae as average...not great but good.
