He is a great professor. He encourages everyone to participate and will listen to various viewpoints and even entertain viewpoints different than his own. He is knowledgable in the field and provides thoughtful insight on difficult discussion topics. He wants students to do well and does not try and trick us on tests. I take him again.

Very intimidating at first with his syllabus and threatens to use pop quizzes if class discussion is low. LOVES when class gives feedback and participation is HUGE! Super easy grader on tests, takes off .2 for certain things, but tougher grader on papers. Overall, very smart and easygoing guy.

Can be a cool professor, but not always mindful of students. Not as open minded as I hoped. Traditional text book liberal...not in touch with complex minority issues, such as working-class and LGBT issues (or at least he was not an advocate.) If you are a text book liberal I'd say take him, and if your a hotty girl you'll get an easy A!!!
