Comment:
Dr. Dooley is pretty fantastic. I took an online summer course but eventually met him after it and wish I had taken the course with him in person. The due dates were inconsistent, maybe because the course was online. He lets you know what he wants and you can run with the task from there. The course content also leaned toward American government.

Introduction to political science with Dooley was awesome! He's great at explaining things and he gives an interesting perspective to politics. He seems like he leans liberal, but he makes it hard to tell. I'm more right wing and I still loved the class. He gives you two papers (write about anything) around 5-7 pages each, and he gives three tests.

I took him for Intro. to politics sci & it was an amazing class. He truly cares about his students and is passionate about what he teaches. He uses many interactive methods like role playing to get you engaged. You have two five page papers and three unit tests, which isn't bad at all, never any homework. And the third unit test is the final.

Really nice and chill teacher. Most of the time I didn't understand what he was talking about because he kind of assumes that everyone knows about political science and so he doesn't explain things sometimes. But other than that, he is super nice and a good teacher! Would definitely recommend!

Professor Dooley is a very kind and smart man. He is down to earth but his lectures are boring. We had to read three books and write 3 ten page papers and we had one final exam. Not a lot of flexibly in terms of grading but you have enough time to start you paper early and bring it to him.

One of the best professors i've ever had. His intro to political science class was something i looked forward to. Allowed for students to share their opinions while informing us on politics. would definitely take him again, wish i didnt have to leave this class behind.

Tough class. It's theory after all. Seems like a conservative. Not sure. Spends a lot of time on Burke, De Tocqueville.

I'm majoring in Business, but his classes are so interesting, I might just switch to poli sci. Superrrrr Nice, and genuinely caring about your success.

Great professor and adviser. Helpful with paper topics and a fairly easy grader. Very easy to understand and knows his politics! If you get a chance, read his newly published book - it gives a new view on subjects you've heard about forever.
