This was for an online class in the Psychology of Information Security. He arranged online chats to ask questions and discussed issues. He was helpful and provided prompt feedback for the assignments submitted. For a class using Backboard he attempted to keep us engaged. He was interested and enthusiastic about the subject. Lots of reading.

This is a master-phd level class on work motivation. His class was very insightful. You will learn a lot from him. If you are really interested in academia, this is the class to take. SUNY albany is lucky to have him.

Very interesting class and awesome professor. 10 online quizzes (2 are dropped), midterm, 2 papers, and a final. Has 3 review sessions online before the midterm and final, which are so helpful. Take this class if you are a psychology major. If I had studied better (like I should have) for the midterm, I would have gotten an A rather than a B+.

I loved his class. He gives you alot of info but gives an outline for the book and objectives to know from the powerpoint.He had an online chat before tests to clear up any questions/concerns. I Thought his tests got easier over time. About half of the class is in the A-C range & other have trouble passing the class. But people do well, I got an A

There's something to be said re: professor's who haven't yet unwound their own psychological quirks. Answering questions in class with the wrong answer is like the nuns and the smack stick - FWACK! He's not horrible but definitely defensive. The course takes common sense things and makes them complicated with overly scholastic terms. Thumb neutral.

steer clear if you can. material doesn't seem that hard but his tests are beyond conceptual and are simply put, very hard. you will have to diligently study, go to class, and read the text to get a decent grade. curves a little, my C+ was a B.

This is a more difficult class for sure. But not impossible. He curves test grades and assigns small writing homework that will help boost your grade with opportunity for extra credit. I would say he is an average professor. Not great, not horrible. Class isn't overly interesting. Not the worst class I have taken, but not the best either.

this teacher is horrible, un willing to help students and when you go talk to him he makes you feel dumb and doesnt help you to understand the material, so boring and the tests are horrible. he's so smart he expects everyone to just understand what he is saying i wouldnt suggest this class to anyone.

Very difficult course. Willing to go over exams with students, but there is A LOT of material for the tests. Puts slides up very late, sometimes the day of the class and never lets class out early, usually late. Sometimes very interesting material, but so much of it. Tests are difficult because questions are so complex. Be ready to work hard!

This teacher definitely knows what he is talking about. He knows so much, during the exams he asks such specific questions with similar answers, that it is hard to answer. I am not discouraging people to not take the course, but I normally get 90's and in his class, I get 70's

This man loves his job. The material is SO BORING. At first it wasn't bad, but he barely ever lets class out early, gives pop quizzes at the end of classes and does NOTHING about people talking throughout the whole class. He puts slides online. Instead of using basic English, he uses confusing words so you cant understand the concept.

2 words: Nepolean complex, and he sort of looks like a 'who' from 'whoville'(grinch stole christmas) I thought this class would be so interesting and was excited to take it until I sat through 1 lecture-sitting up front it was a serious struggle to stay awake, tests are hard and he's very unaproachable

I wanted to like his class..as a sophmore taking this level, I thought he would be impressed, helpful at least. However, EVERYtime, I stopped in for advice (I was excited and motivated, mind you) he was rude, short and mentally unavailable. Side note, I ended up failing the class. I do not recommend unless you're prepared to do alot yourself.
