Very clear with her lectures, and repeats a lot of information so its hard to get lost. Midterms were exactly what she talks about in class and what she put on the study guide. Films are interesting, and when talking about them, she makes it very clear what she's trying to put across. Made silent film fun and interesting

Great professor who knows her stuff about film. Silent film was never an interest, but she made it a great class. Helpful when it came to papers and tests, and easy study guides that will prepare you for the final and midterm. She was a great professor whose class was incredibly structured, which I like better than all over the place.

Amazing class and prof.Is very nice and approachable.Great lectures.Great movies. Readings were useful.Grading was a little inconsistent due to use of GSIs. Very organized class.Wants you to do well on tests.Overall very easy and worthwhile experience.Recommend her.At seems boring, but is very funny and fascinating.Makes silent film interesting.

At first she may seem boring,but omigod,listen to her!She's a funny and incredible teacher! She shows clips from SouthPark. I learned more from her about westerns/noir/etc than my western/noir/etc genre classes
