I enjoyed the class with Prof Powell. She really gives a lot of good Advice about Business and personal accounting methods. Do the homework, Pass the test with a C or better and the project and YOU WILL PASS the class.

Comment:

Prof. Powell is awesome. Do the Homework and the project and you will pass the class. I wasn't a great test taker but was able to pass because of the homework. She gives a lot of advice concerning Business math and how to even apply it to your personal matters and because of this class, I was able to raise my credit from 400 to 600 within a year.

I am so lucky to have had Professor Powell for Business. She was absolutely a star. Very fun, sarcastic (in a good funny way), extremely intelligent, and a whole lot of good information. This is the first class that I learned about myself, and what I can do to improve my career. TAKE SHE WAS AMAZING!!!

If you cannot teach yourself business than do not take her class. Besides the group project, she is not doing anything at all. She doesn't explain and you have to do everything online. Trust me if you really need to learn but not just pass this course you better run.

This online Business class (Intro to Buss.) was very interesting and complex, however project are somewhat confusing and difficult to understand the clear idea or what she expects from us. I don't know if its because its my first time taking an online class before but most classmates felt the same through discussion boards on blackboard.

prof. Lana is great. she teach the class by applying the math to everyday life. Its because of her, I save and have a secured credit card. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND YOU WILL PASS!! If you don't understand a problem, BRING IT TO CLASS! Work as a team and be sure to include math n your project!!

Pr. Power states on her syllabus "Make a note of any problems which you cannot figure out on your own, so we can go over them in class," and that's how it goes. Teach yourself prior to class in "connect," which you'll get extra point for completing your homework and "learn smart." Students need to keep her on track of the subject.

She's great, but you have to be ready to do a lot of work. She expects you to do a looong homework and take a quiz BEFORE she goes over the chapter in class. It's hard sometimes, but if you don't get behind it's a easy A. There's also a group project (as usual, a few work hard and many do nothing), but it's not difficult at all.

Horrible class. She doesn't seem to know what she's doing. The stupid business project sucks. She barely gives you any direction so your just lost through out the whole semester. Two test with over 80 questions. Don't take her AT ALL.

shes a nice lady but she will teach u nothing abt the class . she reviews a chapter per class and u take abt 4-5 chapters on one test . its up to u to study and do well on the test, she goes off abt her own life story . ypu heardly learn a thing anf the mini business project is easy just keep up with it . i learnined nothing in this class .

She is very nice however, she is by far the worst teacher, ever. She changes the grading scale half way through, her tests do not match what we do in class. Most of the class time is spent listening to her go on about some stupid story instead of teaching. NEVER TAKE HER!

This is a very friendly teacher, but not a good one. She is completely unprepared for lessons and seems to make up the lesson on the spot. The entire class is chaotic and there is no structure. The concepts are not difficult, but I had to teach them to myself. I received an A in the class, but I owe it to myself not the teacher.

She's okay. Her mini business project is very unnecessary. She even admits that she sets very high expectations. It doesn't help that the presentation is graded by your classmates so if you have idiots in your class, they might grade you low. Overall, she's okay. Just okay.

Professor Powell is really cool!! Very helpful and friendy to talk to. She does assign a mini business project where you have to run a business through the semester, but other than that the test and class are easy. Would recommend her to anybody.
