Comment:

This dude is the most unorganized professor I've ever had. This class offers 3 tests, and he basically wings them all. Doesn't teach you anything that's on them, but emails you all the material that you basically bring to class for exams. Took my final 2 weeks ago and final grades still aren't in. Wouldn't take him again. Nice guy, but jesus christ

Comment:

Professor Nutt is a nice guy, but lacking in his teaching ability. While very knowledgeably, he is also disorganized, forgetful, and covers the same few topics throughout the semester. In Advanced Issues he only ever talked about racial profiling and drugs, with irrelevant stories. One paper, two exams. A lot of reading. Don't expect feedback.

Comment:

I was skeptical about this class. It caused a lot of controversy and confusion, but Prof Nutt is very helpful and ALWAYS asks to make sure we understand the material. 3 exams, super easy. Almost like they were opinionated and you cannot get anything wrong. Lectures were interesting. He might seem boring at first, but he's good. No HW or quizzes.

Dr. Nutt is a nice guy, just not that good of a teacher. The lectures are long, and he talks in circles. You will start hearing the same things over and over again. Only 4-5 Tests. No homework or papers though. For tests, he does give you a cheat sheet that you can bring to class with you. In short, it is an easy class, but EXTREMLY BORING.

Plain and simple.. I am an A student studying Psych and Crim and Nut is the worst professor I ever had. He is extremely disorganized and his lecture notes are long. Class is boring. Exams are fill in the blank and multiple choice, he lets you use a cheat sheet but makes the exam questions extremely difficult to supplement that. Horrible.

Don't take this class. It's such a waste of time and it's not worth it at all. Nobody can understand the books that he assigns for reading and he doesn't even explain anything. He is so unorganized. Still don't remember people's names at the end of the semester and he does attendance everyday. Worst mistake for me to take this class.

I have him for Religion and Human Experience. I truly enjoy his lecture style - informal, funny and observant. The class is a dialogue (at times, a monologue) that is usually thought-provoking and profound. Sometimes he isn't able to find an audience, but I fault the students. Class is absolutely worthwhile. You'll question your "reality".

I would recommend Professor Nutt to everyone! He is a great professor and the class is pretty easy as long as you take notes. Lets you use a cheat sheet on the exams. He tells corny jokes but they are actually pretty funny most of the time. If you have any interest in police work or policing you wont find this class boring

Easy class! Prof Nutt can be super boring and awkward, but he is such a nice guy. His class was really easy, just write down everything he writes on the board. Lets you use a cheat sheet on exams and gives you the essay question prior so you can prepare. Tells some pretty interesting life stories which make lecture a tad more tolerable!

He is a great guy. The class is only hard if you do not take notes. Honestly, you do not have to read all of the chapters assigned. The notes are enough and you can use a 4X6 index cheat card for your 3 tests during the semster. That's all your grades. Take class

nice guy! very fair, attendance is super important even though he doesnt specify it. he can be boring at times i wouldnt recommend a 830 with him. tests are weirdly worded. but he's a nice guy & if u have to take the class, take him. he's a funny guy & tells good stories :)

What you need to know about Dr. Nutt is that he is the man and I will always recommend any of his classes. He wears the sickest suit and has the sweetest beard, sideburns and hair due ever. He talks all period but is always funny and pretty chill 3 test and your done.
