Comment:

Dr. Collins is a sweet lady and willing to help you if needed. However, you HAVE to take advantage of that! Her notes are all over the place and very confusing! Tests are multiple choice and not that difficult if you understand. This course requires a lot of time!

Attendence is not mandatore, but if you want to pass, YOU MUST GO TO CLASS!! You will also need to write down everything she says and then re-write her notes multiple times (2-3). She is a more soft-spoken professor so you will need to sit in front also. Her tests=HARD mostly mc, with three essay questions with built in bonus points.

Physiology isnt an easy class in general but it is do-able, in order to make a good grade in there you have to come to class. Her notes are sometimes hard to follow but she is always willing to help if you come by her office. I suggest rewriting the notes and using notecards when studying.

The material is difficult as it is a Biology course, however, she is vague and condescending. She is a nice woman but one that makes the tests difficult, not due to content so much but more so because of verbage. The overall class class avg. is about a C. If you take her for lecture avoid her for lab. It's best to get a different point of view.

I am in her Biology II class right now and I just read some of the comments about her, so I had to let people know that she is a great teacher. I have made A's on both her tests so far and whenever I go to her office she is always helpful. She isn't an easy A but if you go to class and study you will make a solid A and learn a lot in the process.

Dr. Collins is pretty much a senile old far who just needs to retire. The set of "outlines" for the second exam do not even correlate with the chapters they are supposed to be about in the book. She talks about random things in lecture and jumps around a lot. We had an exam over 6 ch. within a week of our 1st exam. SHE'S CRAZY. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!

Reading some of these comments, I am wondering if we had the same professor. Sure, sometimes over the place, but ALWAYS explains well. Some people just must have missed class and got notes from someone else... That's what would make her drawings to understand. I've never had a prof who rooted more for me to do well than her. She's great. TAKE HER!!

I thought this class was going to be hard since it's after all physiology! Mrs. Collins is a nice, sweet lady. I admit, sometimes shes all over the place in her lectures, BUT as long as you attend class and take good notes.. then this class should be a BREEZE like A-B-C! Also, the lab is so freaken easy(easist lab i took)! I would take her again!!

Great professor!Her tests are so easy as long as you take good notes in class. Just copying down what she writes on the board is not sufficient. Some people bash her but she is an extremely smart lady and is fair to everyone!!!! I have never had to read my book and only opened it to look at a picture. Take her!

Either she is getting senile, or she really is that unintelligent. Very scatterbrained and tests over random subjects, not main ideas. Nice lady, horrible teacher. The tests werent very hard, it was just frustrating being tested over things we were told that we didnt have to know or that we didnt go over at all. Buying a book is completely useless.

Mrs. Collins is a very nice lady and I love her. She is always willing to help; she even has her home phone number on the syllabus. Her tests are not super easy but if you really know your stuff you should be fine. Her lectures are a bit scattered but because she is nice I do not hold it against her. Definitely come to class and know your stuff!

It's clear that Dr. Collins knows her stuff, but she's getting too old and is VERY scatter brained. Very hard to follow. Draws TONS of pictures but barely explains them. She's bearable, but definitely not great by any means.

I highly recommend taking her. She is a very visual teacher and does a good job of explaining most topics. Read your notes and the parts of the book which relate to your notes and you will do fine. She is also willing to help anytime and really cares about the students.

I think people in my class had learning disabilities or something. She's very easy. Her teaching style is a bit boring at times, and if you're not good at taking notes then take a tape recorder or something. Look at her old tests.. she even gives them to you. She's great.

Horrible teacher, curves the grades. Average final grade in our class was a D (OUT OF 51 PEOPLE). There were three A's on the final exam, obviously severely curved. Don't take her if you give a damn about your future

Look if you don't go to class, you aren't going to do well. It's college. Grow up, go to lecture, and quit complaining. She's very nice if you go to class, and the tests are very easy if you were conscious. There is no need to buy the book. I never opened it. She's one of my favorite teachers, and everyone should take her classes.
