Comment:

This class was really easy. All of the assignments, quizzes, and exams were online, and the textbook is not necessary. We only met once a week for 50 minutes, and it is extremely boring. Attendance is also a grade, and you will have to attend two concerts in order to write concert reports. Overall, its a boring but easy class.

Comment:

This is an extremely easy class. It's only once a week, and EVERY assignment is online. There are small quizzes due every week but its very manageable. DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK! You literally don't need it and it was $145, I got a 99 without it! Dr. Nelson is kind professor and this is an easy A!

Comment:

She's a nice lady, sends several emails a week to remind you about assignments. Attendance is mandatory, but I only had class once a week for 50 minutes. VERY boring but an easy A. Everything is online and you can use the textbook to find the answers. She also doesn't allow computers or phones and took awhile to grade papers. Overall an easy class.

You have assigned seats in a big lecture hall where you attendance counts. I only had class once a week for 50 minutes, but it was very boring. You have to go to 2 concerts and write 2 reports. The quizzes and tests were all online, so they weren't that hard. I used to textbook for the journals and reports. She is nice so I guess i would take again

This is a really easy class, but very boring. Dr. Nelson is a very sweet professor though. It's a short class so you can do it! Everything is online and quizlet comes in clutch most of the time. You do have to go to class to get credit. Overall, take the class.

Dr. Nelson is such a sweet lady and willing to help you and be flexible if you need it. Her class is really easy to pass if you put in a little bit of effort. I would absolutely recommend her

All tests and quizzes are online, two concert reports throughout the semester, extra credit offered, only a few discussion boards and journals to do. Easy class to take if you need a fine arts course and if you want a class that is super easy. Class is only one day a week for 50 minutes. I would recommend taking this class with Doctor Nelson

You are only required to attend class once a week and all quizzes and tests are online. You are required to attend 2 concerts and write 2 concert reports. The concert reports are really simple and aren't graded hard.

This class is once a week and an easy A. She takes attendance and has assigned seating. Everything is literally online so there's no reason you should get lower than a B. She wrote her own textbook which I purchased and honestly if you want to excel on the reports and journals then you should buy the book.

This class was the easiest class I have taken. You literally just have to show up you don't even have to listen. The tests are straight out of the book so have it with you when you take them. Go to the concerts and turn in the reports early. Overall easy A just go to class and read the book.

Lectures are mandatory but a really easy A! Most of her quizzes and her tests are on the powerpoint. Would recommend to take her, literally no homework, just weekly quizzes. There are requirements to go to events and write a paper but there is only 2 throughout the whole semester.

I knew I was in for a world of trouble when I couldn't keep my eyes open on the first day of class. She is extremely boring. I stopped showing up considering everything was online and in the textbook. Participation barely affects your grade. Do yourself a favor and take another professor to miss out on the painful concert reports.

Doctor Nelson is boring and she does not care about her students. I consider myself a great student and I something went wrong on blackboard and one of my journals did not submit correctly. Before that I had a 98 in her class and she dropped me to a 78. ended up having to drop her class bc she refused to believe me...

Amazing Professor who is very passionate about her lectures. Quizzes and tests are online and not hard as long as you read and go through the powerpoints. Write a paper on 2 concerts. The concerts are not boring as long as you pick one you will enjoy. I recommend going to the annual powwow because it was an amazing experience!!

Boring class. Sometimes can be interesting. Very nice and caring lady. All you have to do is read one chapter every week and take a quiz. Easy A if you read and try. There's 3 journals. 3 extra credits and 2 concert reports. Must attend 2 concerts to do the reports.

This is a boring class, since its hybrid going to class is honestly so pointless but attendance counts, I can't tell you how many times I just slept in class. It's not that hard if you know anything about music, which I don't so I had to work for it a little bit more. You have to go to two concerts and write essays on them which was awful!
