Super sweet and caring professor. She is passionate in what she teaches. There are 10 quizzes and 2 exams. There are expected readings for each class session. Would definitely take her again.

Very caring and genuinely wants her students to pass. Quizzes on every reading and a group presentation (she grades super easy). Final and midterm were a breeze.

Incredible person, not so incredible professor. Gets off topic all the time everyday. True/False quizzes, goes over everything before exams. Easy A though as long as you show up.

I've never had a professor who cared so much about her students. She is clear in her lectures and if you do your online homework and study then you're basically set for the exams. She does her best to make sure everyone understands what she teaches. I would highly recommend taking her and I am going to take her for Spanish 102

Comment:

Just read the mandatory readings, show up to class and you'll get a good grade. There is a lot of quizzes so beware but only True and false questions, 2 exams that are worth a big chunk of your grade and 1 presentation which is a breeze. I recommend taking her, you'll learn a lot about the latin culture.

So nice and easy-going. All readings come from one book, you'll watch the occasional movie and have a lot of in class discussions. Aside from one group presentation (easy work), this class is a breeze. Quizzes are mostly true or false.

I like this professor as a person. I do not like her as a professor. The class is boring and she just annoys me. The only time I actually enjoyed the class was when she went off topic.

Not the most clear-cut class I've taken, but it wasn't very hard either. Biggest parts of grade are two tests and a project, as well as some quizzes. For the tests make sure you show up on her test prep days for the best info. Her powerpoints are very helpful with tests and the project. Make sure you get the book, you'll need it.

She is always trying to help her students. She is very nice and funny. She is one of the most understanding professors I've met. She has a good heart. Vocab is the most important part of the class. The work is simple and not excessive. Easy to keep up.

The best professor I've had!! She most definitely cares about her students and doesn't want them to fail. I would take her again if I can because shes that great. Mostly homework online, one presentation, and tests throughout the chapters. If you show up and pay attention it's very easy to pass the class. If you just jumped into 102, good luck!

I took her SPAN 290 class during Spring 2014. I highly recommend taking her class. There was a quiz every week, but they were not challenging. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities. Overall, she was a compassionate professor & she only gave you a hard tie if you didn't try.

As long as you read the book, you will be fine. She posts the powerpoints online. There are weekly quizzes but they are easy. That is the only thing you absolutely need to show up to class for. Greatest professor ever. I would take more classes with her if I could. She is the nicest person ever! All you have are weekly quizzes (sometime you do them in groups or she helps you), a group presentation, and final. Really great lady and easy class. Recommend you all take her for any spanish class!

Super easy. If I hadn't already known the stuff I would've been lost (like some of the students.) She skips around a lot. I really didn't like going to class. So borrinng! She said that this class was an easy A... the quizzes are easy as long as you read the book but the midterm did not make any sense. it was online so it was open notes and it was still confusing, she sets up the questions awkwardly. I wish I took another class.

She has a funny Personality, but her Exams are HARD and tricky....avg was not that great....she is cool in other courses she teaches but this one she is totally different.
