Comment:

He made lectures very funny and labs were educational and fun. We got to dig in lake clay for parasites and creatures (more fun than it sounds!), observe animal behavior, and much more. The course is very easy and I finished all the homework for the entire semester in the first 2 weeks. Also he is available outside of class if you have questions!

Comment:

One must work for the grade they want. Dr. Poston can be hard, because he pushes his students to succeed far beyond any other professor I have ever had. It may be a lot of work, but he is willing to work with you always. Those who complain are simply lazy and do not wish to put forth effort or time into the class.

I have taken plenty of classes with Dr. Poston. He is the best professor I have ever had. Those who take him must be willing to put forth effort. He takes learning to an entire new level, and wants to push his students to be the best he can be. He is very intelligent and one of my favorites. If you have him, you cannot afford to be lazy. Work hard

Dr Poston is one of the most helpful professors I've ever had. He is genuinely concerned that his students do well. I will definitely be taking more classes in the future. Those who complain are the ones who are not willing to put in the time or effort to succeed.

Terrible teacher. Doesn't even teach out of the right book. Never gives assignments or tests back. Never answers questions clearly. Would not recommend taking any classes with him

Probably the worst professor I've had for any class. Monotone, weird, and overall hard to understand. He wishes to just have the students do his work for him in a way. If you find out the class has a trip with him, DON'T TAKE THE CLASS! Have to pay money and waste time you'll never get back. My suggestion is to just try and avoid at all costs!

I do not like his teaching style. His classes are really frustrating beacuase he assigns a project before he teaches on it, and then tries to explain after everyone is already confused. I also feel like I do tons of work, but never learn anything useful. I always seem to get the same grade no matter how much effort I put into my work.
