She was alright. It's hard not to be bias against her because of the boring subject matter. Get on her good side and agree with things she says. Make sure to participate. These are the tools of survival.

Felton is technically a psychology professor, yet she is strangely teaching freshman English. She combines ambiguous "creative" concepts with technical academia; making her teaching methods uninspiring and not to mention quite perplexing. Not too difficult when you get used to her ramblings. Do the work and keep things interesting for yourself.

I came into the class knowing that it was going to be a bummer, but did not expect to be this disappointment. I learned more in 5th grade, and find it extremely difficult to take her seriously at all. This class is a joke, and its not a funny one, get ready to stare stupidity straight in the face and receive comments that make your writing worse.

She isn't as bad as everyone says. As long you have an idea of what she wants, it's an easy enough class. She respects the effort you put in and does her best to help. She is stubborn and doesn't accept bad quality or excuses. The work that seems like busy work actually does help you to understand what you're studying. She hasn't been bad so far.

She was incredibly contradictory in her teaching! First she'll tell you that you have an excellent paper, then go on to say that the paragraphs lack structure or your ideas are wrong. She went over useless information during seminars and gave us busywork that was pointless. I pity future students!

A really bad teacher, especially for a class that is supposed to help you become a better writer at the beginning of college. her comments on essays were vague and unclear&it felt like my writing actually got WORSE over the course of the class. She changes the syllabus almost every class meeting so due dates are confusing I feel bad4 incoming frosh

Just awful. Always strayed from her overhead notes and removed them too fast for copying. Forever lecturing on random tangents. Scatterbrained. Shot down all of my interesting final-project ideas so I ended up with a bland, ordinary one.
