Good mathematics professor, excellent for those with an interest in math. Sometimes quick to speak and has an accent, but very clear in lectures. I do not, however, recommend Honors 190 with him for those who do not want to be math majors. It is an involved class with a good deal of work and it didn't much help me in the end as a Chem major.

Pretty awful teacher. Refused help many times, and was compeltely unclear in his explanations. I am a math major with a 3.8 in-major GPA, and his class was so poorly taught, I got a C. Continued the series with a different prof and it was MUCH MUCH better. 2nd worst teacher of my life.

Ok, as others said, he flies. But he's willing to help if you ask, and his grading is easy. And dangit i know Kevin wrote that about the fly and shotgun; i thought he said that in h520 though.

The class was always graded on a curve with quizes and test, but be careful because the extra credit assigned is hard and sometimes you can put in alot of work on it and get 0 points. Test three was hard and final is hard as well, most folks got a c or d.

Overall a good professor! Lectures can be confusing, especially when he's going really fast over new material. Good thing is quizzes and tests are fairly easy, straight from the homework. Uses a lot of weird analogies in lecture: balloon, lions, fireflies
